As a Chinese person from Guangzhou currently living in New York, I have a suggestion for you. The area in Guangzhou with the most cultural heritage is Yuexiu District which you are exploring in the video. There, you can find traditional and authentic Cantonese cuisine, as well as sightseeing spots, the district is a bit old compare to the others but worth to visit. Some of the old, well-established restaurants and teahouses will leave a lasting impression. If you want to explore modern areas, trendy spots, and new shopping malls, you can visit Tianhe District, where you'll feel a sense of the future. Guangzhou is the birthplace of Cantonese culture, and even a month wouldn’t be enough to fully experience it.😃😃😃

@@VeggiesOnTour The Chinese restaurants in New York are often limited by a lack of innovation due to constraints in ingredients and the skills of the chefs. They also have to cater to American tastes, which makes them less authentic and not as delicious. I was actually in Guangzhou two weeks ago, and I visited the places you went. I enjoyed my month there so much that I didn’t want to come back. China is incredibly convenient and advanced now, the food is great, people are friendly, and society is safe. Have you been to Yongqingfang? There’s also the fashionable Tianhuan Plaza in Tianhe District, which is a large shopping area. Additionally, behind Zhengjia Plaza, there’s the Liuyun community with many chill cafes and handmade shops worth exploring!

Chinese Malaysian of Cantonese origin are immigrants from Guangzhou. If you can speak Cantonese, you can communicate with them in Cantonese instead of Mandarin. Dim sum in Malaysia originated from Guangzhou or Hong Kong. It's a Cantonese dish. People from Shenzhen also speaks Cantonese. Shenzhen is a futuristic city. There is a mall in Shenzhen that you should go. It has futuristic escalator where you can ride from the ground floor to the top floor. There is a driverless bus in either Guangzhou or Shenzhen where you can test it out.

There are a few cities in China where the vendors can speak English. These cities are Kunming, Dali and Lijiang. These cities are located in the province of Yunnan, South West of China which is nearer to Guangzhou. You should visit these cities after going to Shenzhen. Kunming has a touristic place where it is filled with rocks of different shapes. Lijiang has snow mountain. Dali and Lijiang it have many shops with ancient architecture. They are known as ancient cities.

@@VeggiesOnTour yes, my wife and i stayed at Guangdong Victory Hotel there. It was wonderful, especially at evening when the crowds disappear, we walked through Shamian to a restaurant w/ bar at riverside near the white swan hotel, to enjoy ou dinner and river scenery in autumn breeze.

White swan breakfast buffet has for sure much much more variety of foods, especially local dim sum, but it's always packed with people (overcrowded) .

The 版图 is much smaller now due to the traitorous CCP regime. 民国之后，中国究竟丢失多少土地？ 作者 颜昌海在博客發文，1949年底，在中共政权成立伊始，为了取得苏俄的支持，毛泽东不顾冰天雪地，千里迢迢奔向莫斯科。在斯大林的咄咄逼迫下，毛泽东向斯大林举手全面投降，乖乖地承认斯大林的所有侵华要求。在这种情况下，毛泽东于1950年1月2日急电周恩来迅速赴苏。周恩来于1950年1月20日，匆忙赶到莫斯科。自1950年1月22日至2月14日，在莫斯科仅只二十几天的时间里，由周恩来亲手签订了66项出卖中国领土和主权的条约、协定、议定书和补充协定，全面接受了苏联的侵华要求。在这二十几天里，签订的条约、协定等文书目录如下： “中苏联合公报”；“中苏友好同盟互助条约及《补充协定》”；“关于重申和保证蒙古人民共和国独立地位的换文”；“中苏关于中国长春铁路、旅顺口及大连的协定及《议定书》”；“关于苏联贷款给中华人民共和国的协定及《议定书》”；“关于1945年8月14日中苏签定的（与中华民国国民政府签定的）相应条约和协定失效的换文”；“关于苏联把它在东北接收的日伪工商业及财产、原俄国在北京的兵营移交给中华人民共和国政府的换文”；“中苏建立电报电话联络协定”；“中苏互相交换邮件和包裹的协定”；“中苏创办四项合营公司的协定”；50份“经济合作项目”。以上合计共66项。其中《补充协定》及两份《议定书》都是绝密的，也就是见不得人的，是偷偷的卖国文件。 签订的这些契约时，无论是周恩来或是毛泽东，他们此前都是用尽全身的解数，替苏联反对中国政府，必欲打倒之而后快；他们对中国的地理、地质、矿藏、中国经济等方面可说是完全白痴，丝毫不懂。而在占山为王的山沟里，也没有一位地质专家和经济学家。但苏俄方面却是对中国虎视眈眈，偷窥侦查，积累二百多年的侵华经验，他们有专门研究中国的机构，对中国的地理、矿藏、经济等状况，了如指掌。所以，他们能够提出各个方面侵略中国的要求。这六十多项契约是苏俄老早就准备好了的，毛泽东和周恩来在根本不了解中国国情的情况下，签订这些契约：完全是苏俄要什么，就给什么；对中国的领土、财富、主权，敞开大门大出卖。从以上签订的一系列账单就可看出，他们把中国的领土、领空、地上、地下，凡是能够出卖的，都给出卖了。 首先是出卖了中国神圣领土外蒙古。蒙古族是中华民族重要的组成部分。蒙古族在中华大地建立的元朝延续一百多年，是中华民族历史不可或缺的朝代。他们还偷偷出卖了唐努乌梁海。唐努乌梁海在外蒙古的北边，土地面积相当于台湾的4.7倍。他们还出卖了新疆和中国的东北，其“中苏友好同盟互助条约”的附件《补充协定》，就是出卖新疆和中国东北给苏俄的铁证，把新疆和东北划为苏俄的势力范围和殖民地。以上出卖的中国领土计：外蒙古154万平方公里；唐努乌梁海17万平方公里；新疆160万平方公里；中国东北100万平方公里。合计共431万平方公里。这431万平方公里，相当于近半个中国的领土，也相当于120个台湾的面积。为讨好苏联，他们与苏联签署了《中苏友好同盟协议》：无条件承认外蒙古独立；承认海参威(包括海参威所辖之郊区)是苏联固有领土；承认江东64屯为苏联领土；承认图门江出海口是苏联主权；“新疆北郊”是苏联领土；承认清朝政府1850年以来所有领土条约；乌苏里江江域靠苏方三分之二属于苏联主权。 除了苏联及其前加盟共和国外，民国之后，中国被出卖和丢失还有：1、缅甸：为了讨好缅甸，出卖了边界3千平方公里土地，划走十八万平方公里的江心坡、南坎。江心破，相当于安徽省的面积。1956年中缅边界条约，做到了英国没能做到的事情：沿着麦克马洪线和1941年英军声称“抗日”而越界的占据线，把在清代属于云南省的18万平方公里的土地让给了缅甸，占缅甸现有国土面积67万平方公里的四分之一强。 2、越南：部分西沙群岛，28个岛礁，老山。1965年，为了支援越南的抗美战争，周恩来和越南总理范文同签署协议，将北部湾里的白龙尾岛出借给越南政府，让其在上面修建雷达基地，作为预警轰炸河内的美国飞机。这个岛屿，至今越南没有归还。北部湾为圆形，是世界少有的辽阔的大海湾；白龙尾岛就是这个圆心，有了它，简直可以轻易控制整个北部湾，它自古就是中国领土。而中国大陆的北部湾划界，白龙尾岛已经划到了越南海域内。而1999年12月30日的《中国和越南陆地边界条约》，云南老山和广西法卡山划归越南。中国大陆曾援越抗美，与美国打仗，节衣缩食支持同志加兄弟越南，最后却与兄弟反目，打了一场中越战争；但中国军人挨的越南人枪籽，竟然还是中国造的。 3、蒙古及周围：1945年6月，抗战胜利在即，美、英首脑罗斯福、邱吉尔为争取斯大林支持中国抗战，竟背着中国签署了《雅尔塔协定》条约，以宋子文为团长的代表团即赴莫斯科与斯大林面谈六次，由于苏联实力强大，中国贫弱，斯大林仗势欺人根本无商谈余地。宋子文被迫辞去外交部长的兼职，8月王世杰正式接任这一职务。1945年8月14日，王世杰与苏联外交人民委员莫洛托夫在莫斯科签署了《中苏友好同盟条约》，声明在日本战败后，如外蒙古公投证实蒙古人民独立之愿望，中国政府承认外蒙独立。1945年10月，外蒙古在苏联的操纵下举行公投；国民党政府因苏联违约而终止《中苏友好同盟条约》，而坚持“外蒙古是中国不可分割的一部分”。但1949年10月，大陆政府与蒙古人民共和国建立外交关系，其“中蒙友好协议”承认蒙古独立，部分周边土地被苏俄吞并。 4、朝鲜：毛泽东竭尽国力与美国打了一场“抗美援朝”，死伤超100万人，与西方“绝缘”几十年，因此落后数十年，后又遭苏联老大哥抛弃，饥荒三年，饿死三千万人。但1962年，朝鲜独裁者金日成以长白山是自己在日本殖民朝鲜时打游击的地方，希望中国能了解朝鲜人民对此地的革命感情，将长白山划给朝鲜，毛泽东就居然同意把长白山的53%和八个山峰中的三个划给了朝鲜。 5、尼泊尔：“珠穆朗玛”为藏语“女神第三”的音译；1961年10月5日，尼泊尔国王马亨德拉在北京参加了国庆典礼后，与当时的国家主席刘少奇签署了中尼边界条约；该条约第十一条规定，边界线在延着分水岭到兰巴山口后：再延山脊大体东南行，经过卓奥友山、普莫里山、珠穆朗玛峰和洛子峰，到马卡鲁山；然后延山脊向东南转东而行，到波底山口；边界线划过珠穆朗玛峰顶。当时尼泊尔国王的地位并不巩固，马亨德拉在上一年解散了民选政府，把大权集中在自己手里，与信奉民主政体的印度的关系降到最低点，印度暗里支持反对派在印尼边界的游击活动。马亨德拉对北京也谈不上特别友好，但北京为了与印度争当亚非拉新独立国家的龙头老大，对这位毫无谈判实力的国王，送上如此重礼--部分喜马拉雅山。文革后，1988年出版的由前外交部副部长韩念龙任主编、时任外交部长钱其琛任副主编的《当代中国外交》，透露割让珠穆朗玛峰是最高领袖毛泽东的亲自决断。著名历史学家谭其骧编一本有古地名的地图集，比较清代，中国方面让出的2百平方公里以上的地段有7块之多，最大的超过2千平方公里。这本地图集里，珠穆朗玛峰标在中国境内。但这本地图集还是保守的；据清代的舆图，现远在边界线之南的干城章嘉峰（世界第三高峰），当年也是中国的领土。 6、印度：1960年代中印边界战争虽然中方取得胜利，但中共为讨好印度，自动放弃9万平方公里的领土，拱手让给印度。由于麦克马洪线，印度大概占领中国10多万平方公里的领土。7、巴基斯坦和克什米尔：1955年，周恩来访问克什米尔，主动提出把新疆的坎巨提地区（2千平方公里）给巴基斯坦。后来，中国和巴基斯坦谈判边界问题时，巴基斯坦援引珠穆朗玛峰的先例，把喀喇昆仑山的主峰乔戈里峰（世界第二高峰）割走了一半。8、图瓦共和国：唐努乌梁海原来是外蒙古的一部分，于外蒙古独立之时，被苏联侵吞。唐努乌梁海地处外蒙古西北部、西伯利亚以南，北靠萨彦岭，南抵唐努山，是位于两山之间的狭长地带，总面积约17万平方公里。唐努乌梁海被前苏联侵吞之后个瓜分为三个部分：俄罗斯联邦的图瓦共和国，图瓦共和国以西属于阿尔泰共和国的部分，以及蒙古的库苏古尔省。此外，目前占据中国的领土的国家还有：菲律宾，占据9个岛礁。印度尼西亚；占据2个岛屿。马来西亚，占据9个岛礁。文莱：占据1个岛礁。……
