The packing for the radar unit is designed to be re-used. If you flip the flaps around the plastic goes slack. You can take whatever is inside out without stretching the plastic. Then you can put something else back, flip the flaps, and it's held securely.

I use too work for Mazda in quality department. I proposed the same thing with having 1.25 gallon washer fluid reservoir. I had to take the engineer responsible for the washer fluid tank for a test drive. I took his along the north shore of lake superior in February and had him behind me and I hit every pile of slush for twenty miles. And when he ran out of washer fluid I did not stop for 20 more miles. He got the point.

Makes sense. Low level light comes on with .25 left. That gives you a little extra and allows you to dump in a complete gallon when you fill it, no leftovers.

Remember to put the tube in the washer bottle , I have bought 2 Kia's with "suspected head gaskets " for almost nothing one was the washer bottle lid was piped up the wrong way so the vent was attached to the little internal pipe so I pushed the water out of the bottle and couldn't draw it back into the radiator , the other had the pipe dropped off do couldn't get the water out of the bottle when cold ,

I love it when you find a part on the exchange way cheaper than everyone else. It's not that they don't know what everyone else is charging, it's just that they are ACTUALLY interested in selling the part. A lot of these places are really proud of their parts judging by the prices they ask. I have a favorite that is always WAY cheaper than the competition.

I have local favorites that have good prices but on parts that ship easily, I search nationwide. You can save a lot that way.

Great job.... When you mentioned "changing calibers" for the bolts...... I know you're going to like this story..... I see a guy at a loud noises facility..... He has no nug oil (backwards)...... He goes to his truck, and repeatedly pulls the dipstick out over & over, until he feels he has "enough" motor oil on the device to allow it to function properly...... All this is to say, it's not always laziness.... Sometimes not having other options, is the Mother of Invention......

I just changed the radiator in our Hyundai Getz. The bottom hose on the radiator already had a worm drive hose clamp and I changed the top clamp on the bottom hose to a worm drive type. The top hose still had two spring clamps, the one on the radiator was accessible and I didn't take the one off the engine. I often replace them with regular hose clamps when I'm working on our cars, particularly the ones that aren't easily accessible.

Most of us seldom, if ever, look under the hood. Since checking the oil isn’t any longer required, the case of the disappearing dipstick. Watching your reconstruction reminds us of how complex cars really are! I often marvel and wonder how did they figure that out and the miracle of all that complexity lasting for over a 100K miles (unless we decide to crash it or it is a GM). 19:34 Startup auto manufacturers face an incredible challenge, including setting up an assembly line and training workers.

Your #1... In first video, fan looks pretty beat up. In this video, you can still see damage to the back of motor. Better to change now and not have it fail later even if it did turn. Your #2... They make special sockets with the side cut out for applications like that (ie O2 sensors).
