OMG! Now I remember what this style reminds me of! The original Grizabella wig in the 1981 London production of CATS! I need to get one of those little steamers, though. There are so many historical hair styles that my hair just isn't suited for and using steam to style wigs looks soooo much easier.

I agree! Styling something so it’s consistent is better than having to rely on my hair cooperating which it rarely does. :)

I recently got a really short hairstyle and I'm loving it like 29 days a month but every now and then it would be cool to be able to step into a heckin' big hairstyle. Might have to get a wig. Hair can do so many things.

This was fun ! 😄 I think I could get my hair to do this, holds a curl well. Maybe for Halloween 🎃 ?! Think the Hocus Pocus hair dos were similar !?

I think so. :) although in that case I think they were curls arranged over a hair rat.

That wig is so beautiful, well done. You stepped out of a painting. Adam Savage just did a video with two Cos Players about creating really out-there fantasy wig styles. It's fascinating stuff. I'm getting ready to cut off my locs after 7 years - it's time. And, as much as I will miss having them, I am kinda looking forward to the chance to play with wigs. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
