"Life is too short to eat bad food" Amen friend! Been to Venice three times and loved every single visit. I always stay longer than 3 days so that it benefits the local economy, unlike cruise ships, and visit as many cicchetti bars as possible as well as hidden churches (and I'm not religious!).

if you are going to Venice, be aware. they have 2 menus, one for the tourists and one for the locals. they also have city taxes, just to sit down in the restaurant. it is a good idea to ask about the city taxes., before you sit. here is a tip, when they hand you the menu, place your order and hang on to the menu, tell them it is for just in case you want some thing extra. it is not a case of if you are going to get ripped off, you will, it is a case of how much?

In Italy you get small portion because you have more courses than in US, like aperitivo, antipasto, primo, secondi (main), then fruit and cheese followed by a dessert, coffee and a digestivo. In US you get appetizer, salad or soup, main course and dessert.

Decent report, but if you're trying "To get a channel going" do yourself a favor and get a lavaliere microphone or a mini-shotgun microphone that will focus the audio pick up directly at your mouth. I was so offput by this I couldn't focus on what you were saying and had to stop mid-video to make this comment. Also, if nothing else, take a deep breath before you speak and try to speak up. when you project, the mic will not only pick you up better, but in post-processing, you wont have to raise the volume as much when you're editing. When you do end up raising the volume of what you recorded, because it was hard to hear what you were saying, your voice isn't the only thing being raised, the background noise is also being raised which is annoying. Having a good mic, and speaking up will fix that. Also, (and this will probably come with time) when you do speak up, it takes a lot of personal energy to keep that voice up, and the side affect of that is that charisma and fun starts to show in your demenor. Don't be timmid or affraid of what people around you will think, you will never see them again, they don't matter, and also people are used to it, now a days because everyone and there mother is a youtuber now.
