i was hutner main from original vanilla back in 2004. fir 4 xpacks in a row. when they removed explsoive shot play style i switched. it was my forever dream to play hunter without a pet, like kick ass ranger similat to sylvanas with blink for mobility and spammable attack similar to explosive shot. for a while fire mage let me play into that fantasy, but this patch changes it forever. they keep on making fire mage a more hard caster.

Last time blizzard cared about PvP was in Legion. There still were some devs who worked on wow from its beginning and loved game. I'm not saying Legion was/wasnt good PvP but there were frequent class changes with weekly resets i think and changes made sense. Class design - starting with legion. classes were designed to do more AoE imo, so designed for M+, it wasnt that extreme design like it is nowdays but there defo were changes compared to MoP/WoD. Addons - esp.weakauras, the wide spreading of tracking everything became thing in bfa/shadowlands i think? mainly because you could die instantly (ret, sub rog, fire mage burst for example) (when i watch some videos from Legion i can still see ui not plagued with WA's everywhere so it must have started with these xpacs.) Every Xpac after SL (maybe bfa) feels same. (for me atleast) - still same class design, like the design shift isnt big like it was back in the day (for example for Ret from wrath to cata and cata to mop etc). It seems like same xpac with new arena maps completely useless to have 15 arena maps when game is shit, when dealing damage feels terrible), higher level and some new or old but changed abilities. Dealing damage feels terrible - i cant rly explain this.. but back in 2017 I bought legion came from WoTLK/MoP private servers, played som arenas/bgs and dealing damage felt terrible. like most of the times it felt like i wasnt doing damage at all. Then i logged back to wrath server and it felt so good, same for mop.. I highly doubt anything i mentoined wil change, arenas are not the most popular game mode, its already dead and tbh you cant do anything about it.

I've been playing this X-Pac and I've done a total of 3 bgs to date. The PvP in this game has been trash and a joke for years. They need to drastically change the queue systems and battleground dynamics or just turn it off. It just feeds botting and add-on subscriptions at this point. Bgs are pretty much dogpile a single target with 10 people - lame. Or you can keep using the poles in areas to los people like I was when I was 16. I'm 30 now, it's not fun anymore. Especially now that add-ons do all the targeting for you.

I enjoy Tmog farming&pvp, and if soloq wasnt 18000h que times, practicly mandatory to have 2 accounts if you wanna play. Id farm 1800 on every class for elite set and maybe even higher. Knowing that everything is so much easier at the end of season, and it will take what feels like a 10th of the effort the last week/last few days of the season. Probably just means i am 1(main) or non elite set this season, again.

Are they changing entry level gearing? The barrier to entry for a new toon is stupidly high, especially for players who don't already PvP a lot. Having to play through unrated content to get honor gear just to get into rated is terrible. New PvP players have to play through the worst of the PvP content to get to the good parts

so for resto druids. i played ruids plenty but mained resto in dragon flight. entire DS and tww im struggling in arena on resto. like dumpening destroys resto druid. they got no shields of nay sort, sure all heals are instant but they are all HOTS, and once dumpening kicks in, like 2 mins into SS round, you're pretty much done, any comp can focus fire your team mate through your, heals, through iron bark through everything. and if first time you can go tree of life and save his ass, 2nd time around it's a GG. not to mention to save your team mage with tree of life, you burn all your mana. resto druids are very very weird and weak in pvp where dumpening is a thing. i understand that due to class design if blizz ups their raw healing out put, they will be op, if they give them shields, they will be op. but how do you help druids..... i can't fathom the fact that i have to play off cyclone just to offset the fking damage 2 mins into match due to dumpening.

the forst guardian talent is garbage for pvp. i havent done so my self and havent seen a single high end resto druid PVPer, taking talents that would increase duration of their hots (specifically rejuvenation, because it's available there). now you telling me that i need to waste a node on a talent, which i have to work for, to increase my hots by a few seconds.....? my dudes, this is resto druid not fucking disc priest. stop pushing druid where they dont belong. buff the raw healing output, or give us some sort of shields. let my iron bark block 50% damage, not fking 20%. no one will ever take forest guardian, watch my word. well, maybe in 2s.

I'm x8 glad x2 r1 and sorry to say I won't be returning even if they somehow turn PVP around. Last 2 expansions I've been hitting 2.1 for illusions and transmogs, I haven't resubbed since TWW S1 first month and I won't. PVP been dying for years and the community has been utterly neglected. There is an incredibly low amount of players in PVP, especially higher mmr. I recently saw Summit play some and from a new players perspective it simply seems impossible to jump into PVP. There is *NO* incentive for a person to choose WoW PVP over any other game. Shuffle had a chance to fix this, but waiting 20-40 minutes for a queue pop only to meet the same players from 1.8 to 2.4 in EU is inexcusable.

Maybe nobody cares but I've had enough of Wow PvP. Enough. In my opinion the melee classes are unstoppable, the mmr system is not fair at all, and the rewards seem completely unattainable. If you only pvp, there is no benefit from it, while in pve you can get a much higher proportion of rewards that are seasonal, which makes it worthwhile. It is clear that pvP is worth it only for a narrow group of people today, so have fun with it, maybe if only the current 2000 people who are now in the top ladder remain, and they can have fun against each other at 1600, maybe then something will change. Until then, other games will remain.

Dragon charge doesn’t sound that good. It doesn’t actually do anything, and with leap I’ve secured countless wins by leaping to the healer, fearing, and charging back into the target to get the kill. With dragon charge you can’t do that, it’s too slow and obvious. Idk what its use will be, and it gets ride of heroic leaps fast uses from survival to securing kills

Well, as a rogue I have no reason to play the new patch. Almost all classes have received huge walls of text with changes and new talents, and we rogues only 5 or 6 lines where everything is nerfs or removed talents. I'm a sub rogue, and I don't really care if they remove shadowy duel, it's a toxic mechanic. But they could at least give us something new in return, for example a talent that gives us another charge of smoke bomb to compensate for the loss of Duel. I don't see how we're going to be able to kill someone. They also remove Veil of Midnight, making it very difficult to deal with bleed specs or do restealth. I don't know, I feel unfair that everyone in the new patch is going to enjoy new features, and my class is going to be exactly the same but worse. I don't have high hopes that they'll give us something before the new patch, I'm not asking for much, just something new to test. Move the vigor node to make it more accessible, remove the thistle tea autoproc, remove the useless shadowheart talent and put subterfuge back there, maybe some cost reduction for backstab or replace it with the old hemorrhage. You know... something, anything to have fun with my spec.
