Good question Musab! In the first exercise, the following words should relate to the word right before it. In the second exercise, you are doing opposites of the word directly before it as well.

@RedditFriends2 жыл бұрын
@@dustysgap4297 Too good, what I was doing was first a vowel with related words, then with a vowel and unrelated words, then a word but it had to be about some topic (soccer for example) and then mention many other words related to the topic (referee, coach, goalkeeper...). One minute for each vowel and word of course. I made this my routine and it has worked excellent.

Can this help in stuttering??
@edgarmartin87775 жыл бұрын
ayush sharma 100%. There’s a saying, “ don’t look where you don’t want to go.” Part of the challenge with stuttering in conversation is individuals focus on the fact they do not want to stutter and this keeps their mind from letting go and allowing word flow. These exercises will encourage the words to come out while the focus is no longer so much on thinking of trying not to stutter.

The comments don't make me optimistic. Where are the people who benefitted from these tips? When I saw the video, I thought that this system was worth a try, and I was planning to do so for at least a week; however, after reviewing the comments, I'm not so confident. My reason is that if this technique were really useful, I should be seeing many thank you notes from people who actually benefitted from it. I don't. It's been a year since this video was posted, and I see only one positive, though INARTICULATE, report of progress made. That's not encouraging. However, I see a few references to "nonu amazing only," so I'll take a look.

Quabledistocficklepo Yeah, maybe because most people didnt practice. Just like you. Try it. If it works, then it works. If it doesnt then it doesn't. But try it before you dismiss it.
@quabledistocficklepo35976 жыл бұрын
Google Account, That's one way, but a more Intelligent way is to get other people to try first. I did, and the results were not very promising. Why should I take your word? Unfortunately, I don't see even ONE person here who has achieved any kind of fluency. To me, that's not a reason to waste my time on something with absolutely NO evidence of its effectiveness.
@GoogleAccount-po1gl6 жыл бұрын
Quabledistocficklepo Dude, youre acting like you're gonna lose money over this. If this was gonna cost you thousands, then yes, maybe see what results others get first. Youre only gonna waste a few minutes. It doesn't hurt to be the first one to try it. And again, I can assure you that most people didnt do these excersises for very long. How long did you do this for? But if it didnt work for you, then it didnt work.
@GoogleAccount-po1gl6 жыл бұрын
Quabledistocficklepo Huh? Ok....I understand that comments can sound hostile, so if I cake across that way, then sorry. I was just giving you my opinion. You dont have to listen to a word I say. Good luck, dude.

Google Account t, The video was posted on February 23, 2017. I won't say any more on this subject, except to say that it sure seems to be taking a long time for any positive reviews to appear. Where are all the positive testimonials? No, I won't be spending any more time on this, and that includes responding to anything more you might have to say.

This is not what fluency is. Fluency refers to continuity, smoothness, rate, and effort in speech production. There is no such thing as non-verbal fluency. It's like saying reading literacy. These are cognitive recall exercises. They have nothing to do with speech.
@encouraginglyauthentic4310 ай бұрын
Verbal fluency is your ability to move from thoughts to words quickly and to access information from your memory. You're able to express accurately what you want to say and when you want to say it.
@arthurfisher58210 ай бұрын
@@encouraginglyauthentic43 No, it's not. The "ability to move from thoughts to words" is called "speech". The ability to do so quickly is called "rate of speech". The ability to do so smoothly, continuously, effortlessly and consistently is called "fluency". "Verbal fluency" is a made-up, non-scientific nonsense word.
