There is NO bonus check in September. All it is if you watch the video is people on SSI will receive 2 checks (Sept 1 and Sept 30) the Sept 30 check is actually their October check early because the 1st/2nd falls on a weekend. End of story.

This is old news. I'm on social security and I get paid on the 3rd of the month, or before, depending on weekends or holidays, regardless of what day of the week it is. If the 3rd falls on monday, and it happens to be a holiday, I will get paid on the last day of the previous month.

With 31 days in October that means you have to make that payment last more than a month Before your next check as November 1st is a weekday.

@@miquel5041 I know someone that gets two separate checks. One for SSI and the other for SSDI. Not illegal. The SSDI only adds to your SSI it doesn't replace it. For instance the minimum is around $600 for SSI. Minimum SSDI adds about $200 to that.

I receive my ss check on the second Wednesday of every month, but I’m going to try and get disability as well. I’ve just heard horror stories about trying to get it. I’m 72 and have no idea how to apply. Guess I need to contact a social security office to seek some help with that. I sure could use some extra help with my bills. I’m convinced that our government doesn’t care about their elderly!

Usually that's what you'll have to do. You can call and ask if they can do your application over the phone, but make sure when you call, that your disability issue is in the Social Security category as a disability. I hope this helps some.

It's so sad that people are making click bait videos to get views by getting elderly people excited about getting money that is not coming that they desperately need. I'm so sick of these people doing this to our senior citizens. My mom thought she was getting extra money this month first thing she said is maybe I can get more groceries.
