I strongly agree on Kyle Katarn's philosophy. There is no "evil" or "good" in the force, there is only the Force. The force's true power lies in the Balance between the light and dark. Therefore, I believe the Je'daii could defeat both the jedi and the sith in force battle

Hmm. George Lucas himself said that balance was not light and dark, but just the light. The dark is like a cancer cell, and the light is the rest of your body like your immune system. In this case balance isn't a balance between cancer cells and your immune system, it's just your immune system. Basically the dark side is a sickness. And this makes sense too, as most of the time someone even barely dabbles in the dark side, it consumes them. It's hard to resist like a drug. Now maybe some force abilities aren't inherently evil, but the dark side itself is.

@Sana Naryon: I think you're misunderstanding his philosophy then. He only says *abilities* (meaning force powers) aren't inherently good or evil, but how you use them is. He doesn't say "there's no light and dark side". Also, achieving absolute dominance on the battlefield is not the goal of the Jedi. Therefore it doesn't invalidate their philosophy if they don't.

Thats not true btw. Balance isnt utilizing both the light and darkside. Balance to the force is the destruction of the darkside as it is corruption. Kyle katarn was talking about abilities in which there is no right or wrong.

I take it that "Once Upon a December" is officially Wyyrlock's theme. Man, I thought that with all his skill in the dark side, Wyyrlock would win. Oh, well... Maybe it's because he never faced a member of the Jedi Council. It's only logical. I'm really hoping to see Grievous in one of your Versus episode. Hey there EvanNova95. I've watched most of your vs series videos. I think they're great! Really helpful for helping to learn more about the extended universe and also general star wars lore. If I may, a bit of constructive critism: every so often there are words that come up, such as "latent", which you pronounce incorrectly (this one is pronounced "lay-tent", as opposed to "la-tent"). Though these don't detract from the content of the videos, which are clearly well thought out and researched, it is jarring enough to break the otherwise excellent flow. Perhaps it would be good to double check some of these in the editing process? Bring them from excellent to nearly flawless 😆

You guys forgot that Kyle also had at least two other lightsabers before creating his own. The first one was a green-colored lightsaber that belonged to his father's friend, Qu Rahn. The second one was a yellow lightsaber that belonged to the Dark Jedi Yun after he sacrificed himself to save Kyle.

***** An interesting match up. I hope we will get to see it in the new films. Wyyrlarck is a vastly superior force wielder, but Kyle is nearly unstoppable with a blade. Wyyrlarck's magic and illusions might give him the opportunity to deceive Kyle into making a mistake, but in a straight out duel, I think Kyle would win. Wyyrlarck could easily escape however.

Khaos he did not have the lowest midochlorian count. He was an equal to Anakin Skywalker during episode 3. And managed to parry a force push from the newly knighted Darth Vader. And was in the top 10 of most powerful Jedi, and was a key member of the Jedi High Council. Heresy I say.

@@gameovervirus2384 His midi-chlorian count wasn't high, but he used his powers with great subtlety, and I agree he was equal or superior to ROTS Anakin as an overall combatant. But, Kyle has got a lot of feats with the Force that I doubt Kenobi can properly handle.

generaly good and interesting: but kyle katarn armament... im assuming you forgot about the custom built spaceship, the frequent use (and good training in) blasters of all kinds and heavy weapons such as the repeating blaster, rocket launcers, mines, grenades etc etc. before he was a jedi kyle was a soldier, and he still used that stuff when he had to. in a fight vs a force user knowledge and training of ambush techniques using military hardware... gota be useful, if you dont believe me just ask HK47 ;)

Warlock won in most categories but you still gave it to Kyle now i would have said Kyle as well, but i also would have pointed out that he have a slight variation in blade length in his red style and that he uses A LOT of guns in the games including some grenades, that give him the edge in tools because of variety alone.

Just bear in mind that Katarn didn't create his blue lightsaber right after Jerecs defeat, otherwise someone might have a hard time explaining why he wielded a lightsaber with an orange/yellow blade in mysteries of the sith. I'm just saying that there's a theory that he might have held on to Yuns lightsaber before constructing the blue saber he uses in jedi outcast and jedi academy. Just pointing that out. If anyone has a better explanation/theory, then I'm all ears.

not really... i've read the Bane trilogy and two of the Legacy books, unfortunately Caedus was a sith who never earned the title, and was trained by a sith MINION, bane on the other hand could match blades with one of the greatest swordsmen in STAR WARS, use the force to best Sith lords who specialized in the force, and manipulated the guy who had spent a decade manipulating Sith lords into killing himself and his entire order. poor little Jacen Solo would be outclassed in every single aspect. Physical Jacen is Average, Bane is HUGE, dueling closer than size but bane was able to beat legendary opponents. Force abilities.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... equipment even, winner BANE

Jacen was stronger than darth Vader and Darth Vader was at roughly 80% of the emperor, who was the strongest sith in existence...also jacen was able to defeat 3 jedi council members at once and even stand toe to toe with luke skywalker, the strongest force user in existence, for a certain time....also his Pain resistence was insane

I'm sorry, but I can barely listen to GrayJedi without getting frustrated. He is obviously modifying his voice to sound deep and dark but he just does not have a "radio voice" that is pleasant to listen to. I just had to get this out there even though people may hate me for this, it's just a pet-peeve of mine. I hold no grudge against GrayJedi.

I was just sick when made this so it sounds unusually deep. Do I speak differently while narrating? Sure. Trying to create a tone befitting a Sith's bio. This match here is exactly how I'd expect a match between Krayt and Sidious to go down, with Sidious standing in for Wyyrlock and Krayt standing in for Katarn. While Sidious is a superior force user, Sidious can't defeat Krayt with force abilities outright and Krayt wouldn't allow it to become a pure force battle due to his warrior mentality, just as how Kyle would do with Wyyrlock in this fight.
