Honestly rewatching this video today is kind of disappointing conpared to other dashcon videos out there. It seems like it was based on only a few accounts/videos of the event including one by a group who's purpose when going to dashcon was to belittle attendees. I mention this because their inherent bias when covering the events that transpired may lead to false information about the con as well as them likely not experiencing the con like most of the atendees. These spaces often involve members of fandom connecting and creating groups to explore the con and go to events together, which is unlikely to happen when you are a grown man loudly talking to a camera about how embarrassing the event is as well as infantilizing attendees. Not saying their perspective shouldn't be shared, just that it shouldn't be a showcase of the common atendees experience of the con. Highly recommend checking out other videos that go more in depth on the event and showcase the failings of the organizers while while also using testimonials from those who actually attended the event, specifically strange æons and sarah z's videon. (Also don't know why but the first time i tried to post this comment it got deleted so i'm trying again, hope it works).
