@docknives37922 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same, like is this foreshadowing? Cause it seems completely plausible now.
@neoqueto2 жыл бұрын
Actually it doesn't sound that crazy, Cameron is a busy dude, especially around now while he's promoting Avatar 2, but he's a down to earth guy, he has great respect for passionate people in the industry, he probably would be into this kind of stuff. Besides... This channel is a medium for like-minded people, we're all interested in VFX, we're probably all at least a little bit curious about that and other aspects of Avatar 2, so him appearing on the couch to promote it, to dissect the visual effects and cinematography of his newest film and perhaps older ones too makes quite a bit of sense.
@christianstoneroussesu45842 жыл бұрын
@@neoqueto it makes perfect sense... which is why that wouldn’t happen. At best James Cameron comes on the show as a guest a few years from now if corridor keeps gaining notoriety. But they won’t have a promotional spot because of industry gate keeping.

Jim Cameron in the 80s was a MASTER of seamless in-camera VFX and that's why ALIENS holds up better than films even 10+ years after. The combo of animatronics, rear-projection in camera, stop-motion used strategically... all these different techniques work perfectly together to sell so much realism that most films completely fail to capture.

I think the reason The Frighteners CG effects worked so well was precisely because Jackson stylized everything, making the whole movie feel like a horror comic book on screen.
