oh yeah it is definitely hands down the top of the the pile when it comes to superhero stories. I mean honestly I think it's elevated itself beyond the superhero genre and and placed itself amongst the most prestige television, _especially_ now after the conclusion of season 3 which was nothing short of incredible. but there are a good number of people who hated it, I seen some people go as far as to call the season filler because technically the characters end up in the same spot they were in in the premiere, and I think a lot of these people who share this same opinion are just your average everyday superhero fans who aren't used to their characters undergoing significant development or change, instead they're used to the epic plots that are normally more important than the characters themselves and the epic fights neither of which are often very thought-provoking which is why I don't hate the MCU, but I don't really think they're much of anything special beyond being fun popcorn flicks you you go see with your friends.

@@donutt376 Well, I will say this. There are many gruesome, explosion like deaths in this show, but each one, is very unique and every death is the worst thing you have ever seen, until they show another death. And the cycle continues. But each death also has a very messed up psychological edge as well. You really have to watch this show. The story is brilliant. YAOOOOO don’t know if you guys have gone over this yet but, I’m intrigued to know what you guys have to say about the Irishman’s de-aging in comparison to the deep fake for DeNiro that came out a lil while back! Much love
@anthonyhenriques76542 жыл бұрын
I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was impressive but the age of the actors still really affected my immersion to the film. I mean like yeah they look younger, but not anywhere close to as young as they're supposed to be in certain sequences. perfect example being the flashback war scene where Robert De niro's characters supposed to be like 20 years old yet he looks at least 40 and moves like he's about 70. really it was the physical performances that really took away from the authenticity and believability of the de-aged actors. I mean you can use all the quite impressive de-aging technology all you want and try saying Robert De Niro is as old as you want - 40, 30, 20?? - but you can't de-age the way he walks and carries himself and like an old man, which when both combined together produce quite the uncanny visual experience. and this may be a hot take but I honestly didn't really like The Irishman, it wasn't bad but it was extremely boring and it just felt like Martin Scorsese trying to recapture that lightning in a bottle except with both Pacino and DeNiro but imho it was too little too late. and boy did I really want to like that movie but oh well it's not a big deal, score says he definitely has worst movies in his filmography. now the movie he's got in the works currently with Leo DiCaprio and Brendan fraser - killers of the flower moon or something like that - definitely has me quite interested and have high hopes for it
