The writers said that the scenes between Jinx and Silco were meant to be a little "weird", to show that something isn't quite right, but the relationship is purely between a father and daughter. Jinx is like 16 - 18.

Marcus wishes he was Grayson. I think that's part of the problem with him, he isn't. And yes, it's ironic isn't it that Silko is doing the very thing he criticised Vander for. Mel is such an amazing character as well, so brilliantly written. Vi and Caitlyn's relationship is just amazing, such a great pairing. You're reactions are great, so perceptive - really enjoyable.

Cait is still very young here (the flashback at the beginning of the episode). The Kirramans are shooting enthusiasts, we saw pictures of the parents posing with guns earlier. Cait knows that she doesn't just want to be only a privilaged rich kid. I don't think that she wanted to be an enforcer until Grayson planted that seed in the flashback scene that you watched.

Don't know how far ahead of your uploads you are in the series, but the music video for "Enemy" on youtube was done by the same animation studio. It includes additional scenes not in the series itself, and is definitely worth watching, specifically between episodes 6 & 7 to minimize spoilers.
