I have an unproven theory that after the Snowden leak that the NSA stepped back, watched the public's reaction, saw that there wasn't much of an outrage and thus carried on as before.
@LemurWhoSpoke7 ай бұрын
No. After Snowden, encryption became more popular, so they switched over to using keyloggers and relying on built-in microphone hacking. And these might not have even been hacks or malware. They might have just asked the companies that make the products to leave the back door unlocked by allowing them to inject their spyware into driver and OS updates.
@GunsandGuitars697 ай бұрын
You would be right to a certain extent. Some of the information released by Snowden was in the process of being analyzed through certain legal channels, and now with the information regarding these mass-surveillance programs being considered "stolen", none of the people responsible can be prosecuted since the evidence is considered to have been obtained in bad faith. Although as we've seen in the Epstein case, elitists don't ever face justice anyways and the aforementioned legal channels most definitely wouldn't have provided American citizens the same level of detail into what was being done to them with their own tax dollars. So Snowden likely made the best possible decision regardless.

They probably using your devices as interfaces that record everything. That is why data centers are going up everywhere. Every single keystroke/touch, sound, even the alinement of the device is recorded (like the orinatation of you phone is it level is it face up or face down or upright). Moores law says computing power is double every 18 months or so. Internet speeds now can reach 1Gbps. Yet the system I use is slow andand just as laggy with internet speeds at are compareable to 10-15 years ago. Why? probably because everything I do probably goes through several data centers before actually connecting to the internet. If I was to now delete this reply even that would be recorded in real time. If a change settings shut down and then later on turn it back on my settings are reset to what they where before. I am suppose to manually reconnect to the internet everytime I turn my device on. But it takes like 2 mins to shut down. And the settings are reset to automatic reconnect to the internet. Why? Probably because they want to know what I am doing on the device while its not connected to the internet. Which is not much but changing all my setting back to how I want them. Not what they prefer.

When people say Trump or anyone else is a threat to democracy, we should all cheer that on. Democracy is mob rule, two wolves and a lamb deciding on what's for dinner. We are supposed to have a constitutional republic where individual rights are protected, not a democracy. Whenever you hear anyone saying so and so is trying to destroy our democracy they are the enemy. Our government is quickly becoming an Democratic Authoritarian country, and that must be stopped at all costs. I'm a Voluntaryist ,which is basically Anarchy light. If government actually followed the constitution, things would be great. I wouldn't mind having government because we would be free, not the free-range slaves we've turned into. The Constitutional Republic is dead because people got greedy and the people became weak ,dumb, turned from God , care more about virtue signaling than actually having real virtue and for some reason don't care about being free while loving the boot of government on their neck .

Makes me wonder what we’re doing 50 years later. Also, when you would have a figure who is either a citizen or public idol, and they decide to start preaching this. We can all overthrow mentality and stop paying taxes. I almost guarantee that they first come and talk to you and if you don’t comply, they kill you. If you are a public idol, they have the ability to clone you. And the cloning part is far-fetched but what’s sad is that the data is there. These center were literally built to make sure that the American government can stay in power which can be a tossup I believe in some cases, the American vote still counts, and in some cases it doesn’t, but at the end of the day just like you say BRaDM none of it matters were all part of this collective now and until another January 6 incident arises again we will be stuck with the current system, and if an incident like that was to arise, it has repercussions war would crack off I would rather hope to raise my daughter, even if things are not good right now, there is still peace in America if you’re willing to find it, but if you want to stop the powers that be, there will not be peace not for anyone for quite some time and could lead to nuclear war. They say love makes you do stupid things imagine what power will make other men do.

The aphorism they quoted in the video "If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear" is on a concrete sign located in front of the entrance and all the facility is filled with hard drives containing exabytes of data constantly being drawn from the internet. Between the building and the computer storage it's a multibillion dollar facility that spends $65 million per year on electricity alone.

Trump was kneecapped by his own party. Since then, Fox news reporter James Rosen and conservative radio talk host Dan Bongino revealed they were illegally spied on as well, so they are not even hiding it anymore. Yikes.

This is a confusing topic for me. On the one hand, mass surveillance of your own population is bad. ON the other hand, not all of your population is decent, hardworking people, and some of them are probably right this very moment planning evil acts. How do you balance individual liberties with keeping the population at large safe? I don't have an answer, but I can see both sides.

The US government read the plot of Deus Ex and thought to themselves, "Yes, this is exactly what we want!"

It's kind of a double-edged sword. If they can stop terrorist acts, that would be good, but at the same time, they're surveiling people who aren't doing anything, but how do you know unless you look? What sucks is having to react to a terrorist actions rather than stopping it.

The ways to push back against terrorism ... * social stabiliyy thru social welfare * controlled immigration * international assistance instead of forced foreign aid * studying relations of respect instead of dominance * sharing knowledge and knowhow * mutual intelligence resources instead of controlling information

You can see what's in your devices yourself--just open them up (granted a little experience is required). There's no reason to have a separate chip, what actually happens is existing chips have software backdoors in binary blobs. It's also certainly not all devices, though there is risk. There is much higher risk in countries where whistle blowing isn't possible, since in other countries companies would and do get called out by their employees.

@@nonino1644 How would your light bulb send out the data? Definitely a risk for smart bulbs that are given internet access, though there's no difference between an energy saving bulb and a regular bulb as far as risk--both don't have a connection and can have the same components.

@@nonino1644 (A smart bulb with an internet connection can be used for surveillance and DDoS attacks, though if they did it would be detectable (depending on what it's doing, e.g. your bulb shouldn't be sending out of network), so major brands couldn't do it without costing their reputation.)

I’m fine NSA listening to me for national intelligence. Unless u doing some weird ass and suspicious things. U acting like China, Russia, EU don’t do that. These type counter measures prevent terrorist attacks effectively.

@@pauobunyon9791 They are not listening to every Americans, that’s the thing. Everyone are acting like they are listening to hundreds of millions of Americans 24/7 non-stop people every second of your life. NO, they only listen to suspicious people. Example, foreign just coming into the US. Immigrants (legal process) etc etc. But American stupidly got the best of them. They think some dude sitting in a room with headphones and a bigass screen listening.
