WOW, Ms Vicki Justiz, a very well seasoned lady here (soon to be 75) and still train heavy (albeit with longer recovery periods). I've been doing a bunch of different home floor workouts, used resistance bands, deadlifting etc for about 3 months. Haven't achieved the results I'd hope for at this point. Well, NOTHING has worked like this. My backside is SORE (understatement) from my first go round with this routine yesterday and I swear my rear is more lifted after just one workout. The ankle weights are a game changer. Looking forward to where I am 3, 6, 9 months from now and beyond. Thank you!!!

@@mariamjessica7528 Still making progress, still committed, definitely make greater gains in a calorie surplus, as @alishaportugal9195 recommended but I also walk high incline treadmill at a 3-3.5ish speed for an hr now almost every day in a fasted state. It shredded my abs and stubborn hereditary fat on the back of my arms.

I have a similar set of those ankle weights and yea, you need to be ready for it. If you move too quickly you will tweek your back. Slow and steady wins the race.

I've started doing this exercise once a want to develop my glutes But weirdly enough, this is helped me with my hips. I've really tight hips and this video has helped me a lot with that

Great workout! I appreciate the tip to straighten out our backs to keep the focus on the glutes. my lower back was getting a bit too much of the love especially towards the end 😅

As a bloke I typically trained upper body in my 20s and did next to nothing for my legs until 30s by running a lot. I ended up with a lot of lower back pain that I just put down to age. I ended up doing more for my legs through cycling daily for the passed year and they look great now but apparently cycling does next to nothing for the glutes. This is one muscle group I never thought to train but since I started incorporating it, my back pain has gone. The glutes are such a powerful muscle group and deffo need to be included in a workout scheme

Started with 1kg on each leg, went up to 1.5kg last week and working with 2kg this week. Looking forward to keep going up until I (hopefully) reach 4kg (10 pounds) in a month or so!

Vicky did you really have to go there and make us laugh when you told us you about to sing the national anthem cause it hurt that bad lmao i dropped to the floor for a few seconds and stopped them leg circles cause I had to stop for a second and chuckle 😂 and then striking again on 26:46 making me stop mid workout from laughter when you started singing gibberish from the pain LOL. Love it. Also ps WE LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME This is also by far one of my absolute favorite workout videos from you ever !!!

Thank you for the workout Vicky! Question: I warmed up and activated my glutes before the workout. I really felt my glutes. I felt it burn during the first round of the actual workout as well. But when I started the second round I felt absolutely nothing. I just couldn't no matter how much I tried. What could be the cause of this?

I loved this. The stretches are just a cherry on the top, perfect. It also helped to realize that i don't need to flex the whole leg all the time, just work it on the glutes

Dear Vicky, I love working out to your videos!!! I do your ankle weight exercise videos 2 times a week with 3kg ankle weight and to add up more resitstance I do the two last reps with an additional booty band on my thigh. I have been doing the ankle weight exercise workout videos plus your lunges only booty workout for over a year. My booty looks good but I want more volume. Do you think I need to add more weight and go to like 6 kg ankle weights? Can it be harmful to use to much ankle weight when I'm not a super strong fitness girl like you? Most important thing is to challenge your muscles! If you are able to do 15 reps pretty easily with good form then you should increase the weight so it is more challenging. You also have to make sure you're eating enough protein for the booooty gainsssss!!

So I don’t know why but I always end up working out with one really sore butt cheek . Can you give us some tips how to make sure both cheeks are feeling the burn idk what I’m doing wrong. Do I do more reps on the other side? Is this a personal problem? Lol

it's possible that your form is better on one side than the other! def be mindful of that while doing the workout (go slower!) It also could be that one side is just naturally weaker than the other so the other muscles are compensating for it during the workout! I would actually say to maybe do one more set on the side that is getting sore bc it's your weaker side

My goodness, this one is serious stuff, I was already tired before starting due to ab workout but used 6 kg ankle weights on each leg anyway, i'm dying!

Wow…right now I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been and I’m doing daily workouts. Needed one that focused on glutes and found this. Let me just say: THE. BEST. Because I’m so heavy right now I didn’t even use leg weights (my own body weight was plenty 😅🤪) and this about killed my glutes!!! I love it! Will definitely be using this as my glute workout video weekly!!!
