Awesome information again 👍👍. Even though it was down on torque... I was surprised that the Ness was that close to the others. Thanks for the time it takes to make these. Much appreciated

Like I said, never had messed with one before, overall not a bad produce with the limited testing. Have no idea how it holds up over time. Will say that close is a relative term. It did give up a far amount of torque in the mid range. I have added the stock intake results to the graph in the Facebook post in the comments too. Thanks for your comments!

Ported heads. So I have a set of Star Racing ported heads with 38mm intake and stock exhaust valves. Heads flow 295 cfm intake, 255 cfm exhaust both at .500 lift. Going to be a great before and after.

great videos, thanks for the stock model comparison, Im hoping to get my long runner relocated throttle body setup on the dyno at some point, but now realise I really need cams with it. will let you know how it goes with and without cams

Great Tony, if I recall you are building a custom with possible two rear heads? Should be a fun build.

If you haven’t, I would like to see head work on a 106, mix in some cams an let’s see Lloyd’z or Hanson comparison dyno runs. I am biased, I have Hanson heads with 504 cams, stock piston for longevity…..

Thanks for the review. Since I have stock cams I think I just might go with a k&n.

Great info! I bought a used Judge and have been riding it for a year now. What would be the first upgrades on the menu, Power Commander 5, and a new air intake? Thanks
@coryackley9445 күн бұрын
Before any mods are considered, what are you objectives/goals with the Judge. What is your riding style? If you are the laid back easy going cruising type. Stock with is pretty good, a tune via PC6 (there maybe a few PC5 let over) or a ECM tune via Maximus always makes a smoother and slightly more powerful bike. Tuning regardless of the method is between $600-$800 time you get the device and the actual tuning done. There are only a couple of intake options left. Exhaust is somewhat limited as well. As stated above know you objective and then build to suit.

@coryackley944 Thanks for the reply. I had a Vulcan 900 custom for several years as my first real bike. Eventually got some Vance&Hines pipes, intake and a power commander which improved it a lot. Basically looking for a smoother ride with a bit more kick. Like most things, you get used to something after a while and want more. I bought the bike used from a dealer, the pipes on it say victory performance, so probably stock. But goggling the bike, I have never seen a judge image with the same pipes?

It would've been nice to have the stock airbox dyno run also on the graph as a baseline comparison.

I know I should of, I did the comparison between stock and the 3rd years ago. But agree I should of made the included just for the info.

I’m thinking about building a set of “torque tubes” out of schedule 40 pvc. What do you think?
@coryackley9442 жыл бұрын
Certainly can be done, couple of things to considered. Taper, having a single diameter from opening to the throttle body will not perform as well as having a gentle taper (neck down) say an half inch or so larger at the opening necking down to the throttle body diameter over the course of 2-3 inches back from the opening. Also take consideration of of the impact of having the flat surface where you cut the pvc at the opening. If that flat surface is not blended back the incoming air charge will hit that flat lip and cause turbulence which effectively reduces the usable diameter of the intake tube. If you rewatch the video you will see where I talk about this with both the Llloyfz and Terry's intake. Good luck
@pjinxhacks95682 жыл бұрын
@@coryackley944 that is awesome information. I was not aware that they were tapered. I’m assuming you’re essentially building a long velocity stack, is that correct? (velocity stack like the ones in my Honda magna, just longer)
