Thanks a lot Victor :) Your trick solved my problem as well! Excellent video quality btw.

This is a common and easy to fix problem on flybarless systems. When you initialize the power it tries to establish what is flat and level. Because of small variances from board to board, it's won't always get it right, however it's usually not a problem because flybarless systems self center the trims during flight. If it flies forward and you center the stick, it will eventually center. However if the board really wants to slowly move the swash over time, just adjust your subtrim on the radio. Put the heli on a ruler flat and level surface. Plug the battery in and wait. Observe how it's tilting, and slowly dial in sub trim opposite of the tilt until it stops tilting. Then replug the battery and ensure the swash is now holding steady.

Just had the same thing happen with mine yesterday. Swash tilted forward in stability mode but was fine in 3d mode. Apparantly disconnecting the rear servo from the board, powering it on, then reconnecting after it binds to the tx does the trick. Had to do it a couple of times but its been fine since.

I just had the dreaded swashplate-tilted-forward problem after my first new flights (and, err, umm, crashes). i came across a post somewhere about the antenna wire getting bent in a crash such that it touches (or is very close to) the main circuit board. mine certainly looked that way, so i gently bent it away from the board, and the problem is gone! This is only a sample size of 1, so it might be coincidental -- when I get home to my reading eyeglasses and tiny tools, i might try bending the wire back to see the problem returns. This problem and fix would, however, explain why new boards are ok, but then have the same thing happen after a few crashes. It could ALSO explain why the anecdotal accounts of disconnecting and reconnecting the servos in various sequences sometimes fixes the problem -- because in doing so, the (very poorly designed) antenna gets moved away from the board. I'll post again when I have more data.

Mine did the same thing...all you have to do is subtrim it out. I have a vid on my channel addressing this...I personally believe that the instructions are missing a step. I believe what is happening is the engineers assumed center was the same on all radios which is not the case. So if the center position in the radio is not adjusted to what the board thinks is center the heli will drift...actually what is happening is your feeding in input to the control system causing the integrator to wind up...probably went over a lot of peoples heads with that one...but it is what it is. I subtrimmed my cp s so that neither of the servos move in aero or 3d modes when the sticks are centered and the heli has worked fine ever since. I cleared the sub trim to see what would happen and the heli would drift (verified over many power cycles) Check my channel for a video which goes though me doing the adjustment and capturing it on video.

Seen your video and this worked for my blade nano s2, I have a fujimi bell uh-1n model body in 1/72 scale and that problem caused me to have to glue what was a nice unbroken helicopter more then once, but good thing my bird still looks good! But thanks gain brother!!!

If your transmitter uses update-able firmware, make sure that your firmware is upto date. Sorted all my issues with my blade Nano CPS. Also check your mixing as per the instruction manual.

this is my first helicopter and was not aware the swash plate was supposed to level out while in agility mode. mine does this to, when i input right, left, forward, or or back it holds the swash plate at that angle till i correct it back i thought it was supposed to work like that, but i guess not. mine works fine in safe mode

Thank you for help. Disconnecting of connectors from main board solved this described problem. Is published some official info from Horizon Hobby? I hope they will fix this bug in version of main board.

Mine too has that very problem with the swash plate tilting forward until it's crashed again??? If you find out how to sort it please advise...

Horizon Hobby sent me a new board (BLH-2401). I installed it worked. I flew several flights in Safe mode. Then I started switching between Safe mode and Agility mode then I crashed and experienced the same problem of swash plate forward. Then I decided to disconnect the new board and reinstall the original board. It actually works; the swash plate is level. So I guess you can try disconnecting your board then reconnect it. I do not consider this to be ideal, but maybe it will work for you. Let me know if it works for you.

You must calibrate it after the installing of a programme on you card sd of your controller

does exactly what the 230s does the swash on that is not level horizon say its normal.you have to manualy level the 230 as you spin it up.

Also, Volker made a comment. I used Google Translate, I think he said, while in Calibration mode, spin the helicopter around. I tried spinning on horizontal surface while in Calibration mode, but this did not solve problem for me. I think disconnect then reconnect board might be the solution for you, Steves Hawks.

Victor, only just seen your reply to my post so thank you. Not had the problem for a while but it's just started again. After reviewing your post I disconnected the rear servo only as this is the one tilting the plate forward and backwards and guess what! It's sorted it straight away. So just wanted to say thanks for your help and video. Steve.

Why the heck are you whispering?? Don't whisper and mumble in your next video please. Sounds like you are just talking to yourself and not the audience.

Tom Kowalsky Yep, it was late at night and I did not want to disturb the other family members in my small household. Good feedback though. I will keep it mind for the next video. Cheers.
