Nano CP S problem swash plate forward solution

I had the same problem after a minor crash. No broken parts, but the swash acted exactly like the one in the video. I disconnected only the servo leads and did not remove the board. Plugged them back in an it was mostly normal. I have a drift now, but a calibration flight should clear it up. Thanks for sharing!!

I've got the same problem on my new nano which has been flown only indoors so crashes have been mild. Hopefully Horizon will step up with a fix and in the mean time, thanks for the fix.

So it’s just a bad connection in the servo connector? Maybe you need a new servo connector. Maybe Horizon needs to update the connector design to be more reliable? Or maybe there’s some corrosion inside the connector. Have you tried a drop of oil or dialectic grease in the connector?

Same problem. Try this, reboot everything and put the remote was in flight mode when You plug in the battery . For some reason swash is in different starting position if you boot it up in throttle hold mode. This worked for me. Haven’t had a problem since.

Can I email you, Victor? Just bought a used CPs and it's giving me LOTS of problems. Flew OK first time, then the same swash prob as you on the 2nd attempt. Hobby shop worked on it for about 1.5 hrs and it flew fine. Took it home, flew once ok, plugged in a new battery and it's pretty much uncontrollable! Total bull crap! As several of the comments say, HOW can you do the calibration flight when you can't hover the stupid thing?! I can BARELY get it off the ground. I've flown several different (bigger) helis and never had any problems like this. I think the electronics are on drugs or something!

how did u get i contact with HH because mine doin the same thing and ive tried everything from unplugging wires. to sub trimming the swash

I had the same problem, but mine was tilting sideways. I clearly don't understand how your solution could solve my problem, but it did ! Thanks a lot for pointing that out. I just disconnected the 3 servo, without unscrewing the board and it's working fine. But the nano has a heavy drift now, even with the calibration flight procedure...

Hey thanks for your vid I had the same problem with mine brought it back to dealer and they couldn't fix it they called horizon. That wanted to send a new board. I told them about your vid and they tried it sure enough it fixed the problem; then it started to do the same weird stuff again. I returned it and figure I'll try the 120 s. Hopefully better luck as it seems they have a bad batch of nano cps currently on the market

Thanks for this video. I bought one with a serious drifting problem. Tried everything, couldn't solve it. Bought an new one. Guess what, same problem. That calibration flight doesn't do anything either. It seems to drift a tod less in idle up but still. I miss my CPX.

I'm having the same forward pitching swashplate problem after my Nano took a hard landing straight down on concrete.

I bought one. And mine in 3D mode will start pitching and tilting by its self.

The problem is the tail motor Power and ground wires are sitting on the board after crashes and shorting the servo out Reroute your wires to the other side and problem solved

use tweezer. It is lot easier and safe not to break tiny plastics
