😀 About VideoShowMeHow
-----------------------------------------------
⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)
⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)
⏩ What's with the gloves?
Not after any KZbin fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing. Plus adds a little more personality I guess :)
New videos are being uploaded regularly so if there's something you'd like to see, have Questions and/or Comments drop me a line.
Cheers guys.
Adam

Nice to see it has little icons to show which temp control does what section. I have a 55L version that I bought when they first came out and it doesn't have that. Mines been running non stop as a drinks fridge then and hasn't missed a step. My only complaint is the lid design in these really is terrible compared to other decent fridges. There is no insulation in the lid and the seals aren't great, sure it "works" but there is a lot of loss from a weak lid design. I've noticed on warm days when I run it as a freezer it has to cycle far more often than my dometics or engel. I feel a better lid would have helped limit this.

Picked up an older used 36ltr as a back up and supposedly no issues. The freezer doesn’t work and the fridge won’t drop below 2. Spend the money on a decent used fridge if your money is tight and don’t gamble if you plan on using this in a serious way. You get what you pay for rings true in my case.

I bought a 45l brass moneky in May, am onto my 2nd fridge and about to return it either for a refund or they've offered me a 3rd.... i agree with your pros and cons but I've had so much grief with mine i just think I'm best returning it to save more headaches. I've had my car back to my autolec 3 times to check the dual battery, but its tested fine but the fridge just does not seem to stay charged... a 1 hr drive and i stop and its gone to -11 & 23 when its set on 2 and 2 in each zone ...and dual battery is 12.5v?!

I tend to agree on how long he battery last. I will not trust 100% what they advertise ; however for reference, my 18L stays 5 hours on at -10°C with a 7.8 mAH lithium battery (so probably 6-7hours at 2-4 degrees). It's nice enough for taking it with me for a picnic or simply not worrying when plugged in my car in my car, as I don't have a dual battery: It's great to know the removable lithium battery kicks off when you stop the car and will charge when you start. Just bought the 45L 'rovin' version for only $239 at Jaycar with a 15.6 mAH lithium battery version. Hoping for at least 8-10 hours in dual zone with the same benefits when in the car. I am not expecting 15-20 hours as advertised. I love in QLD so when it is 35+ outside for sure battery longevity will drop. At the campsite, it will be on an external 120mAh lithium battery with a 250w solar panel, so I will use the removable battery only as backup if bad weather. Also, excellent review mate.
