Viewer Questions: 6 Speed Element Reverse Lockout, 02-04 RSX ECU KPro Conversion Harness for Integra

6:36 hello - did you guys ever solve this vss question? Is the suggestion still to use the k tuner 02-04 to 05-06 adapter harness on the Kpro ECU and swap the vss wires at the sensor plug? If using a Hondata Kpro for 05-06 RSX type s, couldn’t you simply use an 02-04 engine k swap harness and plug directly into the ecu and not use the Kpro supplied 05-06 to 02-04 adapter harness?

I'm sure this has been answered but I need schooling. My close to finishing my K24 1989 CRX. I'm to the wiring part. I have Kpro but not an engine harness or conversion harness. Is there another way besides buy an Ebay harness? The CRX was and auto and now has a 6 speed LSD from SI.

The K24A2 came from a TSX, I believe. It was drive by wire. I bought a Karcepts adapter and cabled throttle body. I also have a Hybrid no cut shifter box but on an auto, which my car was, it looks to require cutting. I also dont have shift cables. Lot of little stuff.

I have pedals installed and your cable to hydro conversion. 👍🏻 I'm especially lost when it comes to wiring, cause I'd like a tucked look as well. Since my car was an auto and I would like my factory gauges and stuff to work.

With the 6spd conversion, if KTuner offers an output for the Reverse Lockout and you are using a RSX-S wire harness and gear selector mechanism, why would you be able to use the lockout as factory?

If you are using KTuner, then you can hook it up like it would be from Honda (Acura).

Hi vtec academy I just wondering to kswap my honda civic basemodel like you did in your video because I bought my k20a from rsx base it was 5 speed and I want to convert to 6 speed so I buy k20z3 tranny. what should I use ecu charge harness

Can you put a 50° VTC in a k24 Honda that only has only 25 without changing stock ECU will it run fine

It should run like it did with the 25° VTC.

I need to wire it in , this looks like the easiest way I just don’t understand how the momentary switch works because soon as you release it it turns the power off I need my reverse lockout engaged so I don’t grind reverse going from 5th to 6

There are some momentary switches that have both Normally closed and normally open prongs. If you had the switch wired so that circuit is normally closed, it would open while pressed and break the connection, thus releasing the lockout.

Can you bring back the 2003-2007 tsx/accord dual ecu harness so we CL7/CL9 worldwide can run Kpro, Ktuner does not work well with turbo!! I know ktuned used to make it, but they gave up on it, where you could revive it and make a lot of money from it..

Do you guys know if the 09 and up accord alternator is the same as the jdm k24a odyssey absolute engines alternator? They look to have the same way they bolt up.

They are probably interchangeable. When you bolt it up, it the offset of the mount points the same?

@@VTECAcademy not even sure to be honest. I've got a jdm k24a with an rbb head that looks like the alternator mounts in the same direction as what an 09 accord replacement online looks like. Would like to use all of what's on the engine now but wanted to be sure there were replacements if something went bad. So many small differences on this engine I wasn't expecting. Thank you for your help.
