lovely resort! beach is fantastic :) I like the pools too. And as you mentioned, if you want the upscale rooms you can't get it until you're there. But in a few years this place will be gorgeous with the foliage! Food looks good etc, so all in all, not too bad at all. I would be worried about it being full and the lack of bars but this island has been a question mark for us and now you've opened our eyes to it :)

No my style of resort. Low ceilings no smoking in lobby, I walked through this place staying next door, to modern and massive. Not what I come to Cuba for… not a fan of large new resorts. Old and cheerful is better IMO
