Villain fashion tips: 1: Capes, though impractical, are an absolute showpiece and feel great when you dramatically swoosh them when you leave a room. 2: Big, tall boots, preferably with high heels so you can tower over your enemies. 3: Fingerless gloves. They protect your hands from the cold while also giving your fingers more mobility to push buttons in giant lasers. 4: Makeup, regardless of gender, is a great way to bring attention to your face. I find lipstick best for bringing peoples’ eyes to your wicked smirk. 5: Goggles. They make your eyes shimmer in cool anime way, and also protect them from splattering acid or blood.

Nah. I strive to be good. Okay, but sometimes I just don’t wanna care about anything, I wanna care about myself. I toil and try to be the bigger person, but then I see the tumblr people who casually do what they want. And I just think, why? Why can’t I just stop caring? And sometimes the tumblr people start trying to be moral beacons of light, and my distaste grows, making me bitter. Idk. I’m saying stupid shmit I think.

Something i just realized. Villains are just people who believe that their wants and needs are more important then everybody else around them, while heroes are people who believe their wants and needs are less important then everybody else around them

My favourite types of villains are the professionals, like they take villainy as their job, they pay their goons fair wages, and nobody bat's an eye when casual acts of villainy are committed

signs that the mad scientist you’re working for has a crush on you 1: asking to study you more. if he searches through your organs it probably means he doesn’t want to be obvious about it. 2: getting jealous and strapping you down to his evil chair to see if you’re working with someone else. 3: noticing you more taking care of him (cleaning lab coats, rolling in & out the thrown carpet, bowing to his greatness etc…) 4: If he starts petting your head, and reassures the hero will be blown to smithereens. And last but definitely not least… 5: If he brings you for fighting. just as Dr. Vexen Mörderstein says “sometimes it takes one man’s suffering to bring a couple closer together”

1:37 don't forget about consent with scheduling, too. for the most part your evil plans should be okay, but you still need to check in every so often and make sure that you aren't taking the hero from an important outing with their normal, powerless bestie. sidekicks are okay, but the plot often gets in the way of the hero from bonding with the og normal friend so much to the point that they're eventually forgotten entirely near the end. This applies to you as well. So try not to let too many of your evil plans get in the way of your own coffee dates and movie nights with your besties, too. friends outside of work and regular grounding are important, people!

Im thinking about the ways an evil scientist could be tricked into doing something good Like think for example, the hero that always stops the evil scientist villain finally gets some terminal disease from all the exposure to chemical and radioactive stuff the villain creates, and the villain, distraught that they wouldn't be able to fight their nemesis (possibly even secret lover but shhh) devotes their life to come up with a cure as an excuse to keep fighting the hero, eventually achieving this goal and getting the recognition they always wanted Only to go back to their evil schemes but like toned down because "i dont want to kill my nemesis!"

4:11 Skeleton colour cheat sheet Red: Crumples easy but comes back quickly, needs holy attacks to be properly defeated. Blue: Laser magic, disappointingly short range but has fire and light attributes. Black: decomposition bonus on attacks. Purple: poison abilities, generally slower and weaker than dedicated toxic monsters though. Gold: holy attribute, unfortunately just a few resistances and a free halo. Honestly, I don't see the appeal of a piranha tank at all. Most of them are vegetarians, you know, their reputation is overblown. Now an *otter* tank, on the other hand... *that* is a scary prospect. Amazonian giant otters bully crocodiles and literally eat piranha for breakfast. More than that, they smell, so when you have a hero dangling over that particular tank, you'll get some attention. Otters will shout at the hero, scream with anticipation, even. And let me tell ya, they do some damage. Secret agents all have their suits coated in shark repellant these days, and some agencies pay extra for the Piranha-B-Gone (total scam, by the way). But nobody can quite figure out how to make a suit otter-proof. Giant otters are also relatively intelligent mammals, so there is some potential for training them. At the very least, they can be taught to recognise you as a caretaker, so you don't risk getting eaten by them in case of a break-out, whereas the heroes will. What, otters are too cute for you? Not evil enough? Dude, they're mustelids. Anyone with even a grade school level of knowledge of biology will tell you: that entire branch of evolution is full of vagabond and opportunist species with a penchant for wanton cruelty. And while we're on the subject: animal sanctuaries and zoos are a great way to hide your evil lair anyway. No one bats an eye at the weird equipment because veterinarians always have to improvise as it is. Nobody cares about the horse tranquiliser you need to sedate your subjects because, hey, you've got actual horses on the premises and they get nightmares sometimes. People go missing? Well, obviously they were trespassing and harrassing the animals, don't you know those apex predators need their privacy? You 'accidentally' release an invasive species? Tell the plebs to take it up with the local government, I thought we are all for going green these days? So yeah: don't get a piranha tank for your evil lair, just get a zoo as a cover and use giant otters instead. People will think you're the next Steve Irwin while you're going full Goldfinger.

It does bother me that everyone is all about the queercoding in villainy. Is it really so hard to believe that there can be straight villains as well? Im just thininbof an evil scientlist and his nemesis cat-person so he over the season is making a giant laser pointer and tricks the hero cat person into entering some cell with it and once the cell slams shut behind them the laser is off and they look around and its a Valentine's day themed room with big red letters painted on the wall or on a banner saying will you be my valentine?
