One hour of car chases-in which the participants leave notes on every car that they scrape or dent-followed by reasonable and polite negotiation as a replacement for the shooting scenes because, guns, you know.

With those people I just leave the line and head to the back of it. What have I lost, a minute? Maybe two? The pride for starting again is insignificant. And now I'm safe again. And I'll have forgotten that person in a day or two. I can't control them, and I struggle to control my reactions, but I CAN control my choices and actions. And when I figure out a technique like that, I know I've won what I can win. And it feels great!
