I just visited The Big House last week and could not help but notice that Little Walter amp stack sitting upstairs. Though Duane never played one, I'll bet he'd a gotten a kick out of that amp. They really sound great and having such a masterful player as Vince playing through them is the icing on the cake.:)

"Jessica" is a Dicky Betts composition, recorded on "Brothers and Sisters" about a year after Duane died. I'd bet good money Duane never heard it in his lifetime.

Make no mistake my friend. There is no one even now who can sound like Skydog, with the exception of Derek Trucks who studied and imulated him since he was 8..9 years old. He is capable of playing like him but chooses out of respect not to. He is imo the best player I've ever heard, post Duane Allman.

It is the wonderful Paul Franklin. Played a lot with Vince, toured and recorded with Knopfler and Dire Straits plus the Notttinghillbillies plus sessions work with just about everyone in Nashville.
