I really adore him. He's a good guy. He's made his mistakes in life, but has also suffered some of the most unbearable pain. Losing a child has got to be one of the worst tragedies a person can suffer. I feel for this man. I have loved his music with the Crue so ce I was 13 or 14 in the 80s when I bought Shout at the Devil. Love these guys and wish I coukd speak with each of them in person and get a bear hug. Nothing weird. Just a good old fashioned hug. I have so much respect to Vince as the band. Not only for their music over the past 3 decades, but because I believe the guys st their core care about their fans, each other, and the state of things occuring in our country.
@SonnyMatrix10 ай бұрын
exactly. I hate how people still call him a bad person for the car crash. So many people have prob come close to crashing their car while drunk or knew someone close to them who has and they had lenience on them. They just got lucky. Also everyone saying how he should have done more time and yea maybe he should have but you know what? He had the money to get out of it and I gaurantee you 99.9% of people in his shoes would have paid the money and stayed out of jail just like he did. Its easy to point the finger when youre not the one going through it. If the singer of Hanoi rocks(bandmate of the drummer who died) can forgive Vince then I cant see why anyone else cant.

I met the band 30+ years ago, backstage during Theatre of Pain tour. I was 14. In the 15 minutes or so that I was in a room with all of the Crue (and a few girls, including Heather Locklear), I was able to get a window into what kind of guys they were. Vince was the most down to Earth, "regular" guy. Seemed laid back L.A. surfer type. I asked about his backstage pass and he explained the concept behind their design that tour. Just a nice, cool dude. Mick Mars was also very cool, and engaging, joking around with us etc. Tommy was ready to party yelled out "where's the JD?!?" at point and had a big portable radio/tape player (we called them "box" back then) with him to play some tunes. He was happy to talk with us and take pics and sign etc. Always appreciated that. I got to kiss Heather Locklear too, but that's another story. As for Nikki Sixx, well, he was a dick. I think this may have been during his dark heroin years or something, but he was dismissive and dark and brooding...blew us kids off for the most part. Seems to be consistent with his personality throughout, so yeah. Anyway, much love for Vince and the Crue!

The boys of Mötley Crüe are surprisingly nice. With the exception of Nikki Sixx, they are very close to the people who greet them and are very relaxed. Sixx has a little more of a divo air.
