Really enjoyed the brief chat with Jensen. He’s one of the more charismatic guys from F1 and his recent stints doing race commentary have been very good. I think he gives the driver’s perspective in a way laypersons can understand.

Dear Kirby Allison! I can not thank you enough for another great film series! You and your amazing team doing a marvellous and very important work! But I am asking myself a question: where’s all arabian, african and asian people? Why I don’t see them in the crowd of well-dressed and well-mannered ladies and gentlemen? Living for many years in the homeland of Lord Byron and Sir Edward Elgar, why don’t they feel any enthusiasm towards the rich and beautiful culture of Great Britain? (Yes, there’re exceptions but, as known, they are only prove the rule).

Fair question, but if certain groups don’t choose to attend certain events then it’s not anyone’s job to force them. Apparently only 2% of people visiting our national trust properties are black, they are not in any way discouraged and certainly most welcome but if they don’t want to come it’s up to them. I would point out the now greatest F1 driver of all time is black and British a fact we are very proud of and speaks for the equality of opportunity in British society.

I feel like Goodwood would be ruined by aero cars. You could probably go flat out around most corners, barely lifting or changing gear. The chicane is probably the only concession to needing to slow down high speed cars.
