@@ChrisandKellNowHere Hi, Thanks, I'm based in Stockholm Sweden but originally l coming from Riga Latvia. l do everything by my self and no one of my family have any interest in sailing, so l can say l don't get too much support. However l love sailing, l love refitting and all other things that are related to the boats, so yeah. How about you?
@ChrisandKellNowHere3 жыл бұрын
Well, this life isn't for everyone! Especially the refit side of things. It can be quite gratifying though... as I'm sure you can appreciate! We're in Portland, OR and don't have a ton of sailing experience but we do have a lot of similar DIY projects under our belt. Mostly, this just seems like a really efficient way to live our lives how we want to someday.

@@ChrisandKellNowHere It's not for everyone that's for sure. If you don't have much sailing experience, that's alright. l believe most important is love for what you do and then it's easy to learn anything.

Wow! That turned out amazing! Sunning! Love color choices! But Kelly has always had a great eye with color, not to assume who made choices. Hah! Also love that you are a red head, welcome back to the fun side!

Crisis averted, ya kepted your redhair, roof liners, ive no idea what you guys have in mind, but i seen another channel not sure which one, the use from home depo, we don’t have that store here, pcv flooring strips, that kinda Tongue & groove together, may have being GBU. But it looks amazing, it’s completely waterproof, so very washable, and went up super easy.. oh and apparently was very cheap, they used white, but I’m sure you can get it in like Artificial wood colours.. not sure was the only time i seen it used. Chris make sure you put that “stripper pole” back we are all Anxious to see you pole dancing! Looking great guys!
@ChrisandKellNowHere3 жыл бұрын
We are really thinking PVC and we have a plan to cut grooves in the panels to make it look like shiplap... because, who doesn’t love that Modern Farmhouse Johanna and Chip Gaines Fixer Upper- look, am I right? Don’t worry, Chris will be back to straddling that pole in no time! Just need to figure out where to put it.

wow. love the paint job. what paint and sprayer did you use to get that white so sweet?
@ChrisandKellNowHere2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It was such a pain in the a$$ but that could have been operator error lol. It was a little Graco sprayer we got at Home Depot for around $250. I think we got our monies worth!

And what are you doing for the Galley? I would look into all electric you can reach out to Sailing with the wynns there 5 years into sailing now for any questions
@ChrisandKellNowHere3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Denny, we’ll be doing the galley last... it’ll be up in the pilot house and basically a one person kitchen. Super convenient and compact. As our household appliances break, we’ve been investing in new ones that are DC compatible. Gone with the Wynns have been a great resource to watch!

Our solar arch video is still very much in production/ being filmed but, without revealing tooo much, we have a 6 pack of FireFly batteries and three 40x68 solar panels for power. Thanks so much for looking that up! Really appreciate it!

Yeah, we reached out to Uma on a few things. We really liked how their solar arch has the ability to angle the assembly towards the sun regardless of how they’re positioned. Tell us more about this program!
