When someone tries to force you into something that doesn't feel like where your passion is, don't. I've had a similar encounter, not on this scale but certainly 100% the same deal. He wanted me to work for him, actually this happened to me twice. I thanked them both for their interest in me. People so high up like these guys, they mostly want someone to nod at everything they say. Because they lost that 'i'm the boss, you the slave' type of feeling. So I really am glad you chose 'the highway' and continue what you like doing best.

Like him being famous had no impact on her life whatsoever, until people independently found out and started asking her about it.

I’ve visited many Ferrari dealerships, all over the country. Wynn’s dealership was the ONLY one that demanded a ‘cover charge’ to set-foot inside the dealership. You could skip the cover-charge if you could provide the dealership ‘proof of ownership’ before your visit. I had a car at the time, but I wasn’t going to give Wynn-the-toolbag any of my time. He didn’t hate the car, but he’s somebody who doesn’t love cars so definitely couldn’t resist taking the profit. If Ferrari has to get people to sign an agreement to not sell their cars before they’re two years old that means the scarcity is artificial and that’s how they are creating it. All businesses make and sell as many widgets as they comfortably can, though for all goods and services in all unmanipulated markets buyers (not sellers) set prices. The buyer will offer a higher price if he perceives scarcity so that’s why Ferrari wants to make it look like there are more buyers then Ferraris…but how stupid would Ferrari be to not see to it that there are at least as many (plus more) Ferraris as buyers, duh lol. Putting it in a casino and charging cover is having his cake and eating it. And it’s more for his ego than particularly advantageous for Ferrari. I know there are people who will buy a Ferrari with a big win, and it probably does make sense to have a satellite dealership location next to the high limit room with a few new Ferraris that kind of customer might impulsively buy, because If there really was a Ferrari shortage the customer who’d be interested and could afford to gamble that big would already be in line/ready to order and give a deposit for his next one at another dealership. Ferrari shortage LMFAO yeah right there’s barely any actual automobile shortage even during a pandemic as production was halted specifically anticipating tanked demand.

I'm happy for the people of Las Vegas that can support their families, and how performing artists are able to ply their craft. Those folks, to me, are the real heroes in this town.

Its the best place to be in a negotiation, the point where you don't care, thats what happened to Mr winn, he really didn't care about the car nor the stealership, so take your car and leave .y property, but interestingly he back down from his wife in the divorce, even Mr Winn had a weakness.

Was a broker in the days when the LaF’s came out. Wynn’s LaF was the most sought after LaF available at the time, as it was the only US Spec Black LaF available. Word got back to Ferrari pretty quickly, as Ferrari held the titles for all LaF’s for 18-24 months to prevent flipping. Ps - there’s some great stories about David Lee buying Robert Herjavec’s LaF, too 😉

@@drinkxyz David Lee was not sold an original allocation on an LaF from Ferrari. There are lots of conflicting stories and opinions over the why/how, but I can definitively say that he is not the original owner of his LaFerrari. Many speculate this is due to the the 250 GT he owns (#5874GT), which is thought by many credible experts to be a “fake lusso”. His 288 GTO Evoluzione has very similar skeptics. Others speculate Ferrari does not appreciate his “social media profile and activity”, which they’ve been known to frown upon over the years. Either way, a fantastic vehicle and a great addition to any collection.

I went to a gentleman's house in Palm Coast for some A/c work about two months ago Guy had a Astin Martin Vantage in his garage that had a motor mount on top in carbon fiber with his name engraved in it "This car was especially built for (name)" Said he got to go and watch them put it together. Guy was real nice, Not like a lot of rich pricks you see now adays with money

He didn't know Steve Wynn's bro-in-law...the interesting thing is...I think, maybe, I have only heard of Steve Wynn, and I certainly don't know who he is or why I should know who he is. As I type this sentence on 4/25/2021, I still haven't learned about Steve Wynn, and I might not even try to learn. Frankly, it doesn't matter who famous/rich people are.
