Found Clanton’s music while I was waiting at an airport. Was flying while listening to slide. Truly amazing music

That sounds beautiful, I've also listened to clanton while flying, specifically 200% electronica.

I found his music on a really high tech and comfy bus while I was on vacation at Washington D.C. It was a lot more magical than it sounds. I remember hearing Never Late Again and watching the city go by

Slide represents 'the soundtrack' when my life changed drastically. It just happened to get released just in right time in August 2018. Every time when I hear this album, it just brings me back to August 2018. One album wakens the memories of near past.

ok 1 or 2 notes at a time, 3 chord strumming + vintage warping effects and everything sounds right. love it! I'm glad to know George is in his 30s and he's now just feeling like he's made it. It gives me hope that with all the crazy and random projects I work on will result in something better than myself.

The fact that Georgie is a BJM fan fills me with much joy, my parents used to listen to them in the car all the time, so they are a very nostalgic band for me, the two bands which influenced me to writing music was also Oasis and BJM.

Something about George's entire presence is like some fascinating combo of Jack White, Grimes, Billy Corgan, and Aurora. It's an odd crew to pair together...but if you know those artists, I think you'll agree...George is kind of a bundle of _that._ I remember seeing this interview back in the covid times and falling in love with his music. And then this month, his new single I Been Young comes out...and it might be my favorite thing he'd done yet. So I'm going back to his older stuff, and I'm piecing together how smart and creative and interesting of a person he is. I hope he actually releases this new album soon; I need it this summer.

Just watched this for a second time...almost a year since I first saw it. Rekindled my love of George's music. I gotta get back into it.... He comes across in this interview as such a kind cool genuine person. Love his attitude to everything. Very inspiring. Also....his insight into how he creates music was _very_ interesting, and very much aligns with my approach and my thoughts on how music can break new boundaries moving into the future....

There are aspects of Clanton's music that remind me of Forest For The Trees. I'm not over comparing here. I just note similar vibes. I appreciate both artists' projects for what they are. Still, I can't help finding common sonic threads and feelings.

People use the word "complexity" to describe both musicality and tonality. George Clanton may not be very musically complex but is tonally rich. Musicianship and production ability aren't necessarily intertwined. Because many musicians don't record with separate producers and engineers there isn't as much collaboration. Artists may have to do all aspects by themselves instead of working with others that specialize in the recording arts or music theory.
