Virtual shelling - Fort Myers Beach, Florida is one of my most favorite places to explore the beach. The shells are fantastic, the critters are usually out and about and I can't think of a better place to explore on this fine summer morning.
Virtual shelling allows me to share all the beachy goodness I find on our beaches down here. Fort Myers Beach is my most favorite beach and it never disappoints. Come along with me as we go virtual shelling and find shells, urchins, sand dollars and we'll say hi to a few hermit crabs and other creatures along the way.

Soooo happy to have found you! It’s nice to see someone who loves and appreciates shells as much as I do. Unfortunately it has been years since I have been able to enjoy my favorite place on earth, but I care for my 94 year old Mama and she is unable to travel. We live in the beautiful NE Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, but I sure do miss the ocean. My Daughter brings me back some sea water and tiny shells with a bit of sand in a bottle, so I can at least smell the ocean! lol Thank you for sharing God’s awesome beaches with us❣️

Your videos are my favorite things to watch after a long 14 hour shift in a COVID ICU unit. We are so busy again and we are as busy as we were at the beginning of the pandemic. SW Florida is my favorite place on earth. We have vacationed there for the last 3 years and will be returning for #4 in October. My husband and I are working towards moving there from Utah in the next 5 years. When I asked my husband if he wanted to stay in the Ft. Meyers area this time for vacation and he said: “Why Ft. Meyers? You want to go on vacation to go shelling huh”. Yup! I’m planning a shelling vacation. You only live once. Thank you for all your videos. I’ve learned so much and I’m now going on my own shelling vacay! Your videos give me life.

Oh warrior - thank you for doing what you do to help others! I can't even imagine how stressful that is. I thank you for coming along with me on my beach walks and I'm SO HAPPY that it can whisk those that need it away to their special place. October is PERFECT weather down here and lots of the snow birds haven't returned yet so no crowds to boot! I hope you have a great time planning your next vacation and I'm sending you sunshine and strength from Florida! PS - we planned our move for 3 years and it was the longest 3 years ever!

Just discovered your channel❣ Appreciate so much about your style of presentation (relaxing enthusiasm) and the educational depth and breadth of information. Also relieved by how you kindly handle and talk about the living critters and was glad you explained the tiny babies from egg casings were non-viable. Thank you❣

Oh I DEFINITELY have FOMS. It's a recent illness. LOL. Almost gone by the time we go back to Florida for the winter, then another recurrence. Thanks for taking us with you. That blonde conch is beautiful! And the cones you found. I have yet to find one. Maybe next year.

Wow, there were a lot of urchins on the beach! I think you got a great shell haul and I really enjoyed seeing the micro shells from the egg casings. I cannot resist an auger shell (I have spice jars full of them), but they are definitely a favorite home for mini hermit crabs. Thanks, as always, for sharing your walks with us.

SO awesome as usual! I just love the clear water! IF all works out here, we are doing a 2 week road trip, in October, headed to Florida, to visit our grands! We have ordered a new 2021, Rav4 Hybrid, which will be here towards the end of August. But, it also depends on other things too, like hurricane season or if I have to have a knee replacement. I'll find out tomorrow. But I'm excited about a road trip!

I wish I had a top 3 for you. I would recommend anywhere close to the beach :) I don't know FL all that well and the area I know best is Ft Myers, so I would say this area is fantastic! Close to a lot of beaches, we have an airport and pretty much any store you'd need, other than maybe Ikea in the area. Sorry I couldn't give you more recommendations!
