Visit to Siren Craft Brew Tap Yard & Barrel Store

Siren Craft Brew are one of the leading UK craft beer brewers and excel at most beer styles including pales, sours and stouts. They are also widely known for barrel ageing beers so were keen to visit the taproom and take a look in the barrel store with the legend that is Ches (Brew Bro 4). Sadly there was no Dark and Perilous on offer but we enjoyed jars of High Stakes, Trickster, Suspended in El Dorado, Pompelmocello and many more.....in fact some of the staff might think too many more :)

Love the idea of adding espresso shots to stouts. I recently tried this with Brewdog’s Black Heart as I felt it was really missing something. It really works 👍

Yeah we feel it’s missing something too. Preferred Jet Black Heart tbh. A shot of good coffee in a strong imperial stout with a bit of sweetness is trouser-wettingly good though 😎
