We caught a ferry from Sorrento to Capri. Ferries will start from Positano direct to Capri from the 1st April, weather permitting.

You have been inspiring me for ages now. I watched every video over the last 2 years. It’s been so wonderful to have a break from reality while seeing your world. I’ve cooked more, planted more in my yard and now I have finally made a trip back to Italy. We only had one week vacation but managed to see Venice, Florence & Milan. It’s been 25 years since my last trip. I loved showing my 18 yr old daughter & Husband all the sights. Tourism is on the rise, everyone was so kind and helpful. If any viewers are wondering- we don’t speak Italian and we found it very easy to get around. Signs in English and many many people speak English. We had no trouble at all. The food! I am just about old enough to remember a time before plastic. We managed fine and can certainly go back to it. I started making my own deodorant as I was annoyed at the amount of plastic packaging around a tiny amount of product. The key ingredient is bicarbonate of soda, bulked out with either talcum powder or cornflour and bound with coconut oil or possibly beeswax. If scent is required, add essential oils which are antibacterial. Experiment with quantities. You need very little and it seems to work well, including preventing sweating which I didn't expect (though I imagine in a hot climate it may have its limits).
