I love the Vivint because it's slim and can easily be installed on a thin, doorframe.

Hi I just vivint camera doorbell removed and replaced during a trim upgrade but the camera went black??? I still have the doorbell chime but the camera died. Can this be fix??

Hey good job on the video. Maybe you can help me with my problem with vivint. I bought a outdoor camera Pro from eBay and tried to install it myself but it doesn’t have an option to be installed like the indoor camera. I tried to call Vivint to send a tech to install it for me but since I got it from a third-party they refuse to send a tech to do it. When I installed it myself I called them to add the camera on my system they again refuse for the same reason. Maybe you have any advice?

Can the cam view be adjusted? My doorbell faces a wall. So would I be able to adjust most of the view towards outside entry?

I know this is old but I'm a technician. We can add a wedge to turn the doorbell a little more but it also depends on how much wall is sticking out

So small question. My home had a prewired doorbell and chime but had the doorbell from Vivint installed. The installer had tied to the wires for the chime which created a continuous run for the doorbell camera. Am I able to put back my wires to the chime or does that cut the power needed for the doorbell camera? I know my sky panel already creates the chime but its just an itch I have that the chime is just there and I want to use it is all. Thank you.

Hi Campos Family, thanks for watching the channel. I've installed my fair share of doorbells, but I did not install the Vivint doorbell- they give free professional installation. Security Baron thank you for such a quick reply. I just re read my own post and doesn’t seem to make much sense of what I was asking lol. But luckily you understood my lingo. And I’ll call them shortly hopefully they don’t give me the answer “we will have to send a technician”. I’m retired so I have much time on my hands here at home and many questions so hopefully I don’t overstep all the questions. I have a wired to wireless adapter ( 2GIG Take345) with a power block attached to it plus many zones that I don’t use. What other devices can I put on these wires? I have cameras all over the house as well but didn’t know if I could use these home security wires as well for the cameras.

Great video! Can you use the Ring pro doorbell with vivint and the ring floodlight cameras? Would they all work on the Vivint app? Or would you have to use the Vivint app and the ring app separately?

Does this have a angle adapter? Our home would need a 45 degree (left) adapter. Second question: Can I add multiple wireless chimes (upstairs, downstairs, workshop) to this device. I don't always have my phone with me, but I'd like to hear if someone was ringing my doorbell.

Hello! 1. It's been a minute since we had this installed, but I believe that is does have an adapter because I have that same issue in my home. 2. I have three stories and I can hear it quite well everywhere in my home. You can also use other Vivint devices (cameras) as chimes in your home.

I'm with Vivint. It's seems solid so far, BUT.........I HATE the fact that they want to professionally install everything. When I joined Vivint, I opted out of the professional install. They were like, "Cool. We'll send you the DIY kit for the items you want." When I got my items, I noticed that they didn't give me a wall mount plate for my panel. I called them up and they told me that the wall mount HAD to be professionally installed. They wanted to charge me like $200. I was like, NO WAY!!! After going back and forth with them for about 30 minutes, they decided to send me the wall mount and all I had to pay was $4.99. I want to get the doorbell camera, but there is no way I'll let them install a device that is so easy to install. I'll try to get them to sell it to me, but if they don't, I'm going with an Arlo Doorbell Camera.

​@@rodsickasx._5418 They got me stuck on the 2 year service plan. I'm cancelling the monitoring system as soon as the plan expires in August. I may sell my unit and just go with something else. I don't need cameras ever since I installed 3 Unifi cameras around my house. The cameras record 24/7 and I don't pay any fees because everything is stored on my own hard drives.

We are definitely going to review the new one! Just looking at the specs, the video quality is definitely better at 1080p HD, plus it has package detection in addition to person detection according to the Vivint site....bit.ly/2OFm0PH

Hey Miss Bathory, I’m actually a rep for Vivint. We don’t sell the Doorbell camera on its own. You have to get the security surveillance for you to get the doorbell at no charge.

@@angelflores4568 I am having trouble with my vivint doorbell Pro camera night vision I have white lines going across the screen at night and I am also getting alerts that somebody is at my door which there is no one there I have talked to the advance technical support persons and they have told me that they need to send a technician out to get it fixed they checked their schedule and it is months before they can come out and check my doorbell camera I need it fixed now can you help me out?

My doorbell alternates between green and blue. I've tried rebooting I've reset the and tried updating the doorbell and I'm stuck because my last option was delete and re add. Its deleted but I'm not able to re add and it always goes back to blue and green.

They installed it and had to drill a hole to the inside of the home to run a power cord that has to plug into the wall like a lamp. It sucks and no longer has power for whatever reason

I done with vivint contract is too long. Product is no good . ❤ my ring doorbell. No more contract. I brought my own 📷and i installed them . Vivint is too high with equipment.

We just got Vivint installed. You’re right, their equipment is ridiculously expensive, but there’s something about that, “Camera Recording’ Prompt that made it so worth it. We left ADT for Vivint.

I have this camera it's sometime records and the picture quality is low more like (420 resolution). Blurry Zoom quality. 30 sec. recorded Events. It doesn't have a battery for Back up power. "I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM"
