Does something similar also works with the orcs? You keep the last leader alive until the turn where endgame crisis happens. Then you defeat the faction leader, confederating all the armies.

I did a Warhammer II campaign where Vlad was attacked by Malus Darkblade and with the help of a few heroes and buff/debuff spells and items, killed him in less than 30 seconds.

I just loled hard form closed captions. Apparently Vlad Von Carsteins real name is Vlad Von car sign's and seems like he's some kind of scrapyard mechanic rather than a vampiric death lord 😂

Seems like they changed Blood Kiss mechanic so that breaking and re-subjugating them into a vassal doesn't give you blood kiss.

btw orion does that vassal cheese better than anyone else, you should try it out. he doesnt need to cancel the vassal he can just repeatedly attack his vassal and he gets 8k-12k per attack due to all the wood elves buffs to post battle loot

He doesn't have to cancel the vassal treaty first? That's weird, I wonder if it has changed for the other factions to or if they still need to cancel it first?

&tbf a lot of the people using the various exploits for tw-wh are playing on legendary - that diff is absolute ballache without any cheese. the 'ai' (such as it is) cheats very very hard to offset it's complete lack of brain for me i prefer to just not set diff that high

I’ve heard free endgame armies (with ‘Self-sufficient’ modifier or whatever it’s called) disappear on confederation. Is it incorrect? Or is Mercy going to be very disappointed when he finds out? Would appreciate if somebody could confirm

I know it used to work but I did think that an update had fixed it but I could be wrong.

I had not heard about it (obviously) but I would not be surprised! If that is the case, then I might try to keep them as Vassals a little longer and take advantage of their free armies in support! I'd really like to confed. Red Duke though, even if it costs me his free vassal armies!

@@MercytheMad I don't know about diplomatic confederation, but the quest confederations seems to work for the free armies. Tested it with Wood Elves and the Dawi.

@@McPoopy69nice Oh Belegar and Thorek Confed Quests? I totally forgot about those. So you can confirm 100% that the armies definitely still have the Zero upkeep trait AFTER you confed them? (at least for Quest Confed)

@MercytheMad yes, it's not a trait though, it's a permanent buff at the bottom left near their picture. They also have the titles in their details above the traits like "Avatar of Vengeance" and "Talon of Kurnous".
