Fantastic end to a great series. This has changed my whole idea of Russia and also made me realise that I spent too much of my life merely existing and living without passion. Thank you for waking me up.

Surprised the city doesn't look better or isn't more developed. Location seems quite good and is strategically significant. Climate isn't too harsh either. Looks like a prime location to me.

Well… It’s still Russia I guess… But I was surprised too, and the port is surprisingly small aswell for such a location

That's Russia... they have neither technology nor money to develop it further.

@@Bosolevu Russia has loads of money. Most of it goes to Moscow and to a select few who buy private jets and yachts. But Russian peasants seem happy about that, they seem to enjoy poverty and misery. Technology can always be bought, look at the Middle East, they had zero technology. With sanctions it's harder but China is still a possibility.

It's interesting there, north pacific, much tourism with far eastern tourists from China, Japan, Korea who come to new build casinos spend their money. Climate is probably like in Seattle, Washington or Vancouver

This is one of the things I want to do on my bucket list. Go from Moscow to Vladivostok on the Trans Siberian, from Vladivostok to Japan, Japan to Korea, Korea to China by ferry. Then from Beijing to Shanghai to Hong Kong. Then travel through Vietnam to Thailand, ending up in Singapore. This is my retirement trip.

When I was a 7 years old I was fiddling with my phone timezone and my country was nowhere to be found. Then I saw Vladivostok and I thought it might be a wonderful place. I don't know why, something about the name and from then on Vladivostok is just stuck in my head. I remember saying "Vladivostok" again and again for no reason I was just intrigued by it. Maybe someday I'll be able to go to Vladivostok but it's almost impossible considering my status in life. It's not that far yet, it feels impossible as if it is in another dimension. It's saddening that I will never be in that place.

Looks great without the snow, I think that is what puts every one off.. Cold Snow. I have gotten used to living in a desert country for too long and its the one thing would scare me off Russia and its states. I do like the trips to the supermarket as well, showing us all the different things you can get. I am a big fan of railroads and its always great to see your videos.

I'm on the other side. Ink a bottled note as mail for me and trust the offshore Japanese current to deliver it. Climb into a bottle to enjoy float journey. Minus station minders, coal carriers, and deafened by noise. I once found a coconut on my favorite beach (where kite boarding occurs), with words as cut: "Tout cst pris." .

They definitely can be found. There used to be a "boat cemetery" close to the border with North Korea with Korean boards that were either thrown to the coast by storm or intentionally directed there by Koreans trying to escape.
