Wow that’s a lot of wiring! There is a lot you don’t think about when it comes to setup a fish room!

MH Aquatics that’s for sure. Iv thort about it all. Just had to move tanks before I could finish the room

That is definitely one of the scariest set ups Ive ever seen.. Fire waiting to happen. Crazy thing is the price of the proper rated wire you should have used and doing it all properly would have probably cost less than what all those extension leads would have set you back?
@ShepsAquatics4 жыл бұрын
geckopete those extension leads were all from my old set up. I’m still going thro the moving fase then I still have to finish the room off as well. Just need to clear out the house and shed before I could finish the fish room. So it was all thrown together to keep the fish alive. All the wires will be done in proper stuff and hid behind the walls and everything when the room is finished. I’m more worried about the leads on the ground in a metal shed with water in tanks and that’s sort of thing.

Shoulda wired the room up with cable and behind the walls before ya moved the tanks in that's why mines taking ages I guess because I'm doing every single thing first ha, but good progress

Dan's Fishroom that’s all going be happening. Unfortunately I have to move the tanks in before the room is finished due to work on my house and needing the shed space to store materials and building wall frames. So all the wires will be hidden in behind the walls and all the good stuff. That’s y I did state that it was temporary

Shep’s Aquatics Yeh that's fair, just a lot of work having to double handle haha

That’s a fire waiting to happen. Honestly some of the dodgiest and unsafe wiring I’ve ever seen.
@ShepsAquatics4 жыл бұрын
lol what part all the wires over ground. they are cleaned up now and all off the ground away from water
@adammakesstuff22254 жыл бұрын
Shep’s Aquatics I would be more concerned about the extension cords used as power cables that your cutting the plugs of and running through junction boxes.
@ShepsAquatics4 жыл бұрын
Adam makes stuff they are rated power cords and contacts and plugs. I have the qualifications to do electrical wiring. So what is the fire hazard.
