I took the risk and bought the cf moto ibex 800t. I got a 5 year warranty on it. It has a manageble seat height at 32.5 inch and it is loaded with cruise control, heated grips and seat, quick shifter. I have had it for a year and it's a great all around bike

That five hundred is a great setup... I've got 2k miles on my N.C 750 DCT now... Really enjoying the low center of gravity and the power delivery.. Also just a super smooth ride... Love to see you get one..😉👍.. Looking at the mad stat windshield...hmmm.. Have you noticed all the aftermarket parts for the ADV160..?.. I can just see you setting that up for the next cannonball...IOI... Hitting high seventies with that bike now... Keep up the good work...

Yeah one of the things bugging me about the NC750X is the location of the fuel fill. Kinda wish it was under the rider seat like the Super Cub instead of the passenger seat. I don't have a rear box on mine,and i have yet to get the side panniers. Everything goes into the "frunk" for the time being

Got a 2013 NC700XD, and I tell you that I cannot imagine dealing with the fuel filler under the seat if i had luggage strapped back there on a regular basis. Now, I don’t, so it doesn’t bother me but it’s definitely a consideration.

🎯💯 Thanks for the feedback, Buster! That's one if my primary concerns with the NC750X because I do long-distance touring with a drybag on the rear seat. I'm sure I could alter my packing routine or adapt to the inconvenience... but it's an annoying obstacle, to say the least. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

When you finally get the neotec 3 please do a thorough kinda review after you run it for few hundred miles! I will be interested in your opinion on the noise level of that, iam looking for a very quiet helmet myself, i can probably gauge some degree of noise difference between your mic in your current helmet relative to the neo 3, maybe lol!!

Nice to see the 500x out. How do those side air deflectors work. Do they make a difference?

Are you referring to the winglets on the sides of the fairing (below the windscreen)? Those are included with the MadStad adjustable windshield kit, and they calm the airflow behind the screen quite a bit. The MadStad screen is the best upgrade I've installed on the CB500X. 😉👍 --QM

the ups is a mercedes vito - ps $500 tonite m8 - also have a nc750x for 5 years now and was looking at hornet 750 or gsx8s but theyre far more unpractical (cant strap stuff on luggage costs $$$$$$$$$) so decided to keep nc for now - have kriega luaage on the back but i try and not go away long enough to bring a suitcase :) - always bring not much and you can always buy it if you need it - the frunk is ace cos can leave helmet in it when parked at work airport in the store etc - you can buy boxes for it but as above never need to take that much stuff - got used to taking bag off when fuelling you get used to that very quickly its not really annoying

@@QuasiMotard when you put it back together in the other video - i said the same - its a ebay thing - you get nutters here where your vehicle is worth a few quid and theyll offer half or worse i think theres a meme for it somewhere :D - fuelling issues its not a 1935 brough :D oh 500f/x and nc will do 30 miles on reserve got 38 on 500 and 41 on nc :eek #knowyourpetrolyespetrolstations

👏 Congrats on your new Monkey! 🎉 That's the RiderScan Blindspot Mirror: amzn.to/3nJjXLp . If that one is out of stock, then there are several knock-offs that are cheaper and seem to work almost as well ( amzn.to/49WKaNu ). You can search Amazon or Ebay for "parabolic blindspot mirror" to find alternatives. Installation is simple with the included 3M VHB tape. You need about 3-4" of empty vertical windscreen space to install it, and you want to to try to have it above your forearms (nearly eye-level) to get the best view. This mirror really helps situational awareness in traffic. There is a learning curve to use it properly because the image is distorted by the mirror's convex shape, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while I'm riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

That's an option that I considered a few years ago and forgot about it. I'm sure that would help the longevity for the fork seals, but I'm not too keen on the appearance for this bike. 🤔 --QM

Is your back doing any better with the CB500X?

Yes, the upright seating position helps my lower back and leg pain. The handlebars are nearly even with my shoulders, which also helps with the neck strain. I'm still hurting (and coping), but the CB500X fits me better right now than the Rebel. 😉👍 --QM
