I fully agree with you about how we speak about the things we want. God convicted me a few years ago about complaining and what a hinderance it is to my walk. Am I gonna complain about the journey to the very thing I’ve been praying for? We gotta understand the power of our words and the connection to what we say and what we believe. If we believe that God will bring us an amazing spouse we should speak as though we believe it’s true. The reality is the world is full of broken people, us included. With that in mind, sometimes we behave out of a place of brokenness instead of wholeness and freedom which can make dating more difficult. However, we have to believe that God is good and that he’ll work all things together for our good even the difficulties of dating. Sorry for the long rant but this is something God had been dealing with me about so I wanted to share. Thanks for sharing sis!

Amen! God gave me my word for 2023 to focus on earlier today it was specifically "Consistent" not consistency. You just affirmed that it's not about my consistency but about focusing on the fact that God is consistent. This year was focused on my Stewardship and the previous year was focused on my Love, when God is Love and it shouldn't have been about focusing so much on what I can do as what He can do. Anyways, thanks... I enjoyed the chit chat lol 💛

I want to say something, and it may be removed, but as a Christian minister for almost 27 years, when did Godly attire change? God is Holy. He said be holy, come out of the world, be separate, don't touch unclean things. I have been amazed by younger Christians in terms of their attire. I just met a younger Christian who told me she went in a nude bar to witness to men and if anyone questioned it, they hv a religious spirit. And she wears high midriff tops while witnessing to men on the street. That is foreign to my upbringing in the church. Isn't exposing one's hips and legs sexual for a Christian anymore? I love this channel but have been surprised by the way young Christians dress. God said learn from the older women. I'm hoping this might help someone but I know it's likely it can offend. But I didn't write the Bible. It's all there.
