She still is as popular as ever all over Europe, she’s still touring and selling out big venues. The music you hear on radio & makes it to the charts is different barely anyone who started out the same time as Anastacia is still in mainstream music. Her music and voice actually got better and better with each new era. Love her! A true artist and diva

Europe loves her. She was overlooked in the US market because there were many younger talents fighting for recognition.

@@winnied87 actually, they (management) lied about her age when she first started releasing music. It was more to do with her record label fighting with various radio stations. Out of spite the radio stations wouldn't play her music (in the US) to get at her record label.

Whoever put this Anastacia vid together was (I think) just trying to show off her belting abilities. I LOVE Anastacia and consider her one of the most consistent vocalists I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve seen her about 10 times. I really also love when she’s doing ‘small’ songs. This video only focused on Anastacia's belting. She actually has a very well developed lower register and head voice. I think a more accurate video would portray her in a better way. The first clip was her first performance after cancer and she was not in the best physical form. Her health had a major impact on her voice through the years. She's dealth with cancer twice, a heart condition and Crohn's Disease.

The final clip was the Roger Sanchez remix of “Paid My Dues” in which she belts G#5 and does sexy vocal runs. In terms of remixes the arrangement is more akin to a dub mix than a full vocal version which explains her various ad libs and repetitions here. She actually did an excellent job of recreating the various recording elements on the live stage and it is deservedly featured in that compilation of her best live vocals.

As a big Anastacia fan i agree with someone else who said that whoever put this video together mainly put it together to show her belting abilities but they dont show the best of this ladies voice. She has so much to her voice, the pop songs and the ballads have such beauty to them with the way she sings them. She is still going, touring and ive read somewhere thats shes working slowly on new music but she is currently performing in We will rock you in Amsterdam i think it is :) love this lady!

She is fewcuently in Europe in many interviews in England, Geemany , Italy, Netherlanss, and shows full sold out months before she comes. In Europe is still a big star. I saw her on Saturday in Luzern Switzerland with a philarmonic orchestra of 60 musicians and her voice over all these instruments still sound AMAZING she got standing ovation. It was wonderful .

Omg I love Anastacia since the start of her career!!!! She always gives it a “woooow” and always belts a “Yea”. As far as I know Anastacia doesn’t do any vocal warm ups before a performance (or at least she’s stated that in the past). She hasn’t been anywhere, she’s been working pretty much non stop. Also Anastacia is working on new music for 2020 with a tour to follow.

There is a remix of Paid My Dues (last clip), and she's actually awesome for sounding like it's her own live remix. Also, in the first clip she had just defeated cancer for the first time, and she said radiotherapy had affected her breathing. Nevertheless, I think that performance was full of emotion. 🤗

The first clip was from some kind of benefit for breast cancer survivors if I remember correctly. She just go through her first breast cancer and was very emotional. Later in the performance she started crying. Guess that's what you heard. I thought she kept herself together pretty good in her emotional condition

I Think that most videos try to show her as someone that can go Up there along with other singers with really high voices. Anastacia has a huge voice and really high notes from a woman with a natural low voice. But evaluating her only by the high voice is unnatural and a lost battle from the start . I would like to see a video that shows more of her distinctive tone and his low notes as well . There is so many singers singing high and so little singing low , but for some reason, high notes are considered the hardest although it's more common.

Don't be sorry to have an opinion. I like Anastacia as an artist and some of her songs, and she looks cool to me... but I don't like her voice very much. It seems as if she's forcing a weird texture to her voice, to sound deeper or more powerful, thus that "cat-like" (I don't even know how to describe it) result. Just a little bit like Shakira, I don't feel like I'm hearing their natural voices, it's like some kind of impersonation. But then, those are style choices... I just prefer it when a singer seems to be using their natural voice, that's all.

I dont know who made this terrible clip of her singing live :) Ive been to her 2 live concerts and maybe one song was not top of tops. She tends to sing with a lot sould and heart and tears ... so some times she changes hes songs on stage but i was very very happy with her performances ive been to. IT would be better just to pick up some vid from youtube by yourseld and play them one after another... lots of soul and rmb like songs.. rocky once.. pop allso. She was my favorite female singer. Loved her very much. She went more to Clothing and other stuff and release one weaker album and one with covers but she was super huge in 2000s ... too shame that she has never got a better company behind her to be a super megastar in US... she still sold 50 mils worldwide. He acoustic vids and acapella vids are awesome !
