Is her voice what it was 20-30-40 years ago? Hell, no. NO singer sounds the same in there 70's as they did in their 30's or 40's---many singers are shot by their 40's. The TALENT, though, is all there. No one else compares. Goddess.

A Barbra Streisand concert is not a concert, its a happening. I absolutely adore her , i still remember the day I saw her live and after a 10 minute prelude she was there!! the audience erupted into a long and well deserved standing ovation and I jumped up my seat so quickly I almost fell. That moment I will remember until the day I die. That part of her concert she was singing to her younger self is my favorite part as well, can not get enough of that, its phenomenal.

Thank you for your lovely lovely words about the one and only Barbra. She is 77 years old now and can still belt a note and she can also sing a high note softly. All her notes are supported naturally and that’s why she is absolutely astonishing. I have seen her live many many times and it’s like pressing a button on a computer - that’s how perfect the notes are to hear live. Yes her voice has changed over the years, a little huskier etc, but who cares. She still is the best there has ever been and ever will be. Have you heard her sing So Long Dearie from Hello Dolly. The opening “Goodbyes”. Amazing. Also look up on you tube “Fifty Percent” and listen to the last few notes, and that wasn’t so long ago. Then of course the last note in “A piece of sky”. Wow. Please don’t take offence but just one little correction - it’s StreiSAND. Like sand on the beach not pronounced with a Z. Lol. Xxx

Love the video! Love your passion, I can totally relate. I have been in awe of La Streisand since age 6 when I first saw Hello Dolly. I got The Concert on VHS as a Christmas present as a child. 1994. This is the concert where she sang the Yentl medley you mentioned where it ends with her singing a Piece of Sky with her past self. Gorgeous! Enthralling! Chills for days! It is available on Netflix, I believe! "THE CONCERT"... cheers from Texas, US!

God I love this lady, seen her four times in concert now. My daughter and I where in the second row from the stage, it was my daughters 11th birthday, she stands out as she had red hair. I'm in various closed Barbra Streisand's Facebook fan groups and I asked her to sing Enough is Enough for Jamie as she loves Barbra too. Honest Vocal Coach --- I'm glad I discovered you! This was a great review. Will subscribe to your channel. As far as Barbra goes, I saw her live only once. As a matter of fact, it was 50 years ago tonight in Las Vegas. I've been having memories all day. There are a lot of great singers, but none of them give me literal goosebumps except Barbra. I wonder what it is about her voice physiologically that produces goosebumps in a lot of people. Her sheer charisma is powerful and could carry her even if her voice is not quite as good as 50 years ago. But, after hearing her last album, Walls, I thought her voice had not lost anything. In fact, it sounded better to me than stuff she did in the early 60's and really just as good as anything she did at any age. I wanted to go to Hyde Park, but not so lucky. Vocal Coach --- keep it up. As others have said, I'd like to see you react to one of Barbra's old things --- perhaps the concert in Central Park in 1967. That was one fabulous night.

I was 6 years old when I saw her in Funny Girl, I'll never forgot her amazing stunningly beautiful voice 💕 they didn't use microphones then. Her voice was like no others. I've loved her since.
