Notice after the two verses when it goes into the middle 8 section with the extended section of screaming. How you visibly see her plant her footing so that her body is braced, grounding herself with good posture to enable her to tolerate to force of the sound coming out. Good growl/scream technique is as much about positioning and body posture as it is about throat relaxation and technique (much like other forms of singing)

i'm not a singer, but i played guitar, and my teacher taught me funk even though I've never played funk (i played metal), but he tough me it to learn the rhythmic component of the guitar, in particular the shuffle rhythm. in that moment I undertood that a musician have to learn different techniques, like a different color of a painter, because it enriches you and can push you to experiment. but the important thing is that you have to be a good musician, regardless of the style or technique used. Tatiana is all of this. she is an excellent singer, in any technique she tries. here he goes from ragge to metal to clean as if it were nothing.

The breathing issue with growling vocals is technically solveable by using another technique which you may know about (or may never have heard of?) ... it is 'inhaled vocals' where the vocals are continued while inhaling.. I have heard of this but never specifically seen it on video. I have zero information, however, if it is damaging to the vocal chords or not and I would definitely recommend finding out before using the technique.

I know that within this style of music, the vocals don't need to be super rich sounding all of the time. However... I'm amazed that she's laying down vocals for a major label release, using an AKG Perception 220 (maybe a 420?) microphone. Certainly, some people have been know to use cheaper (~$100) dynamic mics for major release (Shure SM57/58), but this is roughly a $100-$200 condenser mic. Typically quite a brittle microphone too (I have one). Many vocalists will use a Neumann U87 or a Telefunken U47 (both range between $3000 and $12000). This is a testament to good recording techniques and the fact that you don't need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a high end microphone to get a good vocal take. Would her voice sound better on those high end mics??? Sure, but again... within this style of music... the richness or body that those high end mics would give her voice, would likely be lost in the mix anyway.
