This song and Demolisher by Slaughter To Prevail completed the work in me that Tatiana of Jinjer began: opening my ears to harsh vocals. I think Beth gets it exactly right here when she says it's important to acknowledge that we have those baser instincts. Will Ramos holds up the mirror in front of me with this vocal, supported by the brutal precision of the rest of the band. Kudos.

Lorna Shore was one of those good bands those most wouldn't have heard without lineup change which brought Will in, and afterwards produced EP ...And I Return to Nothingness, which is brilliant in every aspect, when you dig deeper on Wills extraordinary vocals, making it one of my favourite releases of 2020. Still gives something new on every listening, but dunno about soothing, this is more like buff up song for me! And by his profile and interviews, Will is a wholesome dude!

Idk CJ was really good and basically made gravel vocals in signs of the swarm Will is def more talented and I do like him more but that last album with CJ like dude that was so good and another reason I think they really good with this album is because it’s 3 songs it’s way easier to improve and work on 3 songs to make them good I wish more bands did this instead of full albums that some songs are good and some aren’t because this has their full attention

I wish people liked Lorna shore sooner lol. I mean they've been top tier from the start. Once CJ joined they kinda got bigger. And are even bigger now with Will. Hate CJ, but with Will it's definitely justified. But this bands sound hasn't really changed all that much. Everything they do now, they did back when they were more strictly deathcore. Check out their album Flesh Coffin. The original vocalist Tom Barber is one of favorites still, and his writing inspired alot of other deathcore outlets like Shadow of Intent and 3ven Will has said hes taken inspiration from him. I'd definitely recommend going into their catalogue.

@@KevinLeitch they really aren't. A lot of that blackened deathcore feel has actually been pushed by them since the beginning tbh. And then listen to all their music cause they are awesome.

I love how you love the complexity of the human voice. I would love to see you reacting to some beatbox videos in here like Vocodah, King Inertia, Codfish, D-Low, Reeps One

Deep dark metal is so soothing. Classic heavy metal, hair metal, power metal etc just makes my senses irritated but this is so nice and smooth :'D people look at me like I'm insane when I try to explain it haha
