Nice to see you up our neck of the woods and riding round Rivington, great roads. Don't do yourself down Shaun you do a fabulous job and your style is you, it's unique. It's not my style or size of bike these days but you have to admire its quality and price. But you are up against the bike snobs though who are still willing to buy a bike costing well over twice the price simply because its got a blue roundal on the tank.

I was able to obtain an ex demp model with only 29 miles on it and the P/ex was a little better than some offered like Hondas 2600, so that's limited my loss. I've been taken aback by some of the comments I've received especially from Stuart Fillingham who made various assumptions which were pure fiction.

£9k for what is essentially the equivalent of the F900 GS, you get a lot more value for money. The F900 GS is £12k in basic model. Then start adding the options, panniers, top box, quick shifter, heated seat, grips etc, things start to get rather expensive. Plus, how much is BMW's servicing, parts etc? The after sales is just as important as the initial cost.

A lot of bike for the money, a back to back comparison with a 900GS would be interesting. I wonder if the testers will be able to see past the badge. Hopefully a more road focussed bike with a 19" front wheel will follow shortly.

I would also prefer a 19 at the front, didn't hinder me having a 21 but it's of little use to me. Expect it's an easy win to release a DS version of this with less features and road wheels for £6-7k...

Nice one Sean this looks to be a grand piece of kit can't say I am an adventure fan but if it would fit me I would have one these bikes really are of a good standard these days and surprisingly CF Moto are also involved in sponsorship in Moto 2 and moto 3 with the Aspar team they are a main sponsor,when you think they sell their bikes at very reasonable prices and can still be title sponsors in two category's on on the world stage it ain't bad ,good review very well done.👌👍

I’m the same do not like tech on bikes they are losing their identity. How ever I’ve always had Japanese bikes and a triumph but this bike has definitely caught my eye. A fully stacked bike, great for those that chew up big miles up and down the country or Continent crunching. But would you enjoy just taking out for an evening/Sunday ride, probably not. Something you will maybe find that Cfmoto had is net security securing the bike so you can park, anywhere set a sort of "force field" around the bike which will alert your phone if the bike is moved. Likewise the cfmoto has a built in tracker system that shows you where your bike is on Google maps at any time.

Also the bluetooth to the phone, bike and earpiece is brilliant; I've never used anything so good before. The bike locator is brilliant you could go to the police show where the bike is on your phone, simple as.

I don't know for sure, but I think the CF Moto app also allows you to shut off the bikes ability to start as well by deactivating the ignition. But don't quote me on that. I've mostly been watching a lot of videos as of late to see the various opinions on all of the bikes I put on my list for future purchase.

I'd go out and buy one now if it were closer to 200kg wet. As it stands a 1/2 year used Transalp is only £7.5k and weighs 206kg with the same power. Has fewer features but honestly I wouldnt use them anyway.

I would never park a bike outside under a cover, you will trap more moisture than if it was just left in the rain. If you have no dry storage location just ACF50 it or XRP etc then leave it uncovered

There's plenty of over 10k reviews, take your blinkers off mate, there's NOTHING wrong with these bikes, in fact, they've engineered away a lot of the problems with the expensive bikes like KTM. Instead of being straight up Anti China, inform yourself and do some research..... PS, I've been buying Chinese products since Aliexpress opened, {over 10 years}, hundreds of different items from brake discs, billet Aluminium parts to brake parts to clothing and sunglasses, NEVER had a dud part, but I do know what and where I'm buying it from....

I am of an age where I can remember Soichiro Honda sending his damned crappy motorcycles to the shores of the UK. Like you we had no vision, did nothing in the way of research, thought we knew everything and of course were only to keen to spout utter nonsense about the quality of our British bikes. Honda, one minute wonder, tinny crap, will rust away by January, all the usual excrement…..how very wrong we were. Whilst we were yo-yoing withe kickstart, the Honda was up the road and turning left!!! Lesson learned, just traded a 2 1/2 year old Voge 650 for the 900. The part ex value was more than generous, I was surprised, ridden it through the winters, little if any rust, nothing had failed, the 19” front wheel enabled me to really push it through the twisties, get the engine above 3000 rpm and it pulled like a John Deere tractor on steroids. The engineering qualities are as good as anything from Europe or Japan in its class…….and what you get for your money is just phenomenal!!!! We run a number of small industrial machines with Chinese Loncin engines, we change the oil (too) frequently, clean or replace the air filter and they work all day, every day, never change a plug and not had one fail…..if they do, they’re ridiculously cheap and readily available, next day delivery. Whatever you do, DO NOT try one, you may just be pleasantly surprised and that would not be good at all. Voge is the new Honda.
