It's Jinjer time. I'm a jinjer reaction junkie. This band is special next level stuff enjoy the jinjer rabbit hole it's epic. The farther you delve into the band the better it gets . This is middle of the road. The earliest stuff is more metal core and more intracate later on. They've gone from a 5 piece to a 4 piece and it's amazing how much better it is. Outlander and cloud factory are my favorite songs but I have not heard a bad song yet and I've heard all of the library. I found out about them in February and was addicted. My favorite band. Great reaction to a awesome song. Just subbed. Peace ✌️ from Stan the Alaskan

You’ve met the metal queen. I think Tatiana has said fry is lazy. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
@ViktoriaVision3 жыл бұрын
I think I remember her saying that too. She definitely uses false cord, not fry, so that would make sense. Although I totally disagree with her - false cord growling is such an open technique, while fry screaming definitely involves more strain and resistance. But I guess every vocalist will have their own feelings about which is easier.
@ViktoriaVision3 жыл бұрын
@@ndve8229I do. Everything I wrote was my experience as someone who does harsh vocals. False cord is known for being easier because it doesn’t use the vocal cords at all. You have probably notice many recommandations to watch Judgement and Punishment Tatiana Shmayluk One take vocal performance. This is definetly a highly recommanded videos to react, but usually not the one just after Pisce. But for vocal coatches, it is different and is probably the best after Pisce. Why? Simply because it seams to have been made for vocal coaches or peoples who think it is not her who groawl. She is alone with a mic like in a recording session and take by a fixed camera. She also have only a bikini top to even show more what she's doing. And the song also shows many of her possibilities : normal cleans you associated to Katy Perry, belt, groawls and scream. Short story : a must to react for a vocal coach if you want to react to more Jinjer. And after everything is good from live to official video, and you may discover an amasing band with skilled musicians.

LuLz, not the first person who straight noped out as soon as the chorus dropped. Don't feel bad, any reaction channel eventually pops their cherry on this video. Jinjer Pisces reactions have become their own sub-genre on youtube with video compilations of people going "dafuq?!". We do recommend the video intentionally - without issuing warnings - just because seeing people suddenly freak is so entertaining. Tatiana's a vocal beast, you can hear her and the band live at wacken open air festival, it's legit.

The growl doesn't use the regular vocal cords, it uses the false vocal cords. That is why she can do it without tearing up her vocal cords. Initially as lly guys were doing this via a vocal fry, but some of them had some serious issues and almost ruined their voices. When I first started working on this in the 80's, I was trying to learn to do Smaug's voice from The Hobbit Animated movie from the 70's, I all but destroyed my falsetto. Eventually I hot my falsetto back but it took 2 years of private training.

The dual aspect of the Pisces sign fits in with the 2 sides of a personality. I think part of her wants love, and the other part is "skittish" due to negative experiences in the past. One reactor said that she reminded him of his ex wife - before and after marriage.

Okay great call! Interesting. My traditional technique is all about no extra manipulation, but maybe ill learn something?
@j.f.fisher53183 жыл бұрын
Good analysis. I never liked growling vocals until I found Jinjer, but Tatiana made me a fan. The vocals to this are off the album version - the "live session" was to record their new drummer Vlad who had just joined the band a brought his own style to the drumming on this song. That said I've seen them twice and even though I'd watched all their concert videos and a bunch of bootlegs I was more impressed after seeing them on stage. Their concert videos are where it is at in general, though the one-take vocal recording video for Judgement & Punishment is really good for vocal coach reactions and so raw there is even a tiny oops left in. Perennial live at Wacken is another great next step for vocal coaches, though there is a bit of light vocal layering that was added in post on that one. To see something really heavy from them (all three of these Tati goes lower than she is doing here), Who Is Gonna Be The One Official Live and Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev are both brutal, while Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne showcases a lot of the coolest things Tati does with her voice all in one song and is arguably their most aggressive piece of music. They are releasing a studio video for Home Back which is about their home town getting caught up in the war in eastern Ukraine - there have been anti-war songs before but never by civilian refugees who are as artistically powerful as Jinjer. I highly recommend it. It is even more brutal live though, and this would be a great song to do a double-feature, if you are interested. Home Back doesn't have an official live video but is part of the "Alive In Melbourne" full concert with links to each song provided in the description of the video. Cheers!
