The most underrated work OUT equipment EVER. This is LEGIT BRO. YOU JUST SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WITH THIS VIDEO! THANK YOU

In Dutch we have a saying: "Waar een wil is, is een weg!" Which means: "Where there is a will, there is a way!" Very good video! I was thinking about buying small plates to use at home. But I also wanted to find something that I can easily bring with me to do a quick workout when I am working late. This solution is perfect for me: rubber bands are cheaper (I am student, so this is a big plus), small and light (easy to take with me), while still being able to provide you with lots of tension for a good workout. Thanks for the great tip!

I'm lazy af. I sit in my chair with my feet up on my desk holding the band with my foot and work my pronation and back pressure. When I have a burst of energy i put my feet on the ground work my curl.
@Alex-17504 жыл бұрын
@David Sanders No need to push your limits by putting your feet on the ground to curl.. Put the rubber band behind (your extended feet on the desk) and work your curls from there.
@rileyneufeld70014 жыл бұрын
I do this too! If you have the room, you can set your foot/band outside of your shoulder. Gets some sidepressure and puts the pressure on your hand more like a real match.

This was awsome Ray, you just answered a couple of questions I had on how to work cupping efficiently. I have been training with a towel attached to a weightwest for months. It can work your bicep and toproll pronation, (supination to an extent) but the cup is very tricky to hit with a towel. Now I finally got resistance bands and Im using my shaker for fat grip and I cant believe how good it actually feels. Im glad you showed how to wrap to get the multispinner effect, because my dumbass couldnt figure that out haha! Hopefully they will open up gyms and sport halls soon, so I can get back on the table. Greetings from Copenhagen.

Hey Ray. I got static hold related question. So the thing is ,i mostly use resistance bands and do static holds for 5 reps and each rep i hold as long as i can till the very last breath,till my arm just starts to lower down,cause there is no strength left. But the thing is why i am saying is, why should i only limit myself to 30 seconds when doing each rep? Isn't it much better if you hold it till there is no power left,than give a minute for rest ,so some power comes back and again to go till the end for the next rep and repeat.In other words each rep is max effort rep.

@WizardOfCheese4 жыл бұрын
great vid. you can twist the bands to make them shorter for more resistance too.
@UCSSattwikChakraborty4 жыл бұрын
That wouldn't be a very good idea cuz you need to haves space between top and bottom attachment of if you twist em the bands wont maintain the gap and you would face difficulty in curling as the bands hit your middle fingers. Better to just double up the band or put lighter bands in combination or the classic "go further away".
@WizardOfCheese4 жыл бұрын
@@UCSSattwikChakraborty I mean to twist the bands near the anchor point - if people are working out in small rooms and cant walk back far enough you can increase the tension that way without having to buy thicker bands
@UCSSattwikChakraborty4 жыл бұрын
@@WizardOfCheese i suppose but it would still pose a bit unsteadyness. If it works for you go ahead. If it works for others let em go ahead too.
