Voiceplay vs Homefree - Survivor (ZOMBIES VS HILLBILLIES) FIRST REACTION! (WAIT WHAT?)

Hi Everyone!
I'm doing a HALLOWEEN SPECIAL SERIES which includes multiple REACTIONS that are HALLOWEEN related.
The first one I'm reacting to is VOICEPLAY vs HOME FREE as the ZOMBIES vs HILLBILLIES with the song "SURVIVOR".

After winning the competition, Home Free headlined a thirty city tour produced by the SingOff. Two other groups were invited to join Home Free for this concert tour, VoicePlay and The Filharmonics. Home Free did a versus song with each group during the tour.

Honey LaRochelle is the name of the female singer for VP, she was added to the group for the Sing Off TV show. The other guy you couldn't recognize was Tony Wakim, who was the group's baritone before J-None. He still works with VP behind the scenes because he and Layne co-own a production company that hosts most of VP's videos, Pattycake Productions.

As part of the SingOff show, two groups battled each other every week and the judges would eliminate one group. Home Free and The Filharmonics were placed in the battle one week but both groups performed so well that neither was eliminated in that episode. VoicePlay and Home Free had prepared this song but never sang it on the television show.

For some reasons VP was forced to have a female participant during Sing- Off. She was never a formal member of the group. This number was prepared for the competition but VP wasn't in the finals. They became good friends with HF and decided to do this video together afterwards.

The gentleman in VP you don't recognize is Tony Wakim. He and Layne co-own Pattycake. He was their baritone from 2011 to 2016. My favourite part is when Earl (the one who's name you forgot) sings "cause my zombie taught me better than that".

This was set up by the Sing-Off prior to VoicePlay going home. They decided they would do it anyway so both groups were at their homes and did a great job of creating the visual that placed them together. The guy you didn't recognize is Tony Wakim who was the baritone for VP before he decided that he wanted to get into productions. Layne and Tony became co-owners of Pattycake Productions. J None came on as the new baritone. During the Sing-Off, the show felt like they wanted VoicePlay to bring on a female singer. Rachel Potter was in the X Factor competition, so they turned to a long-time friend and vocalist Honey Larochelle. The Sing-Off brought some of the best competitors to do a couple of tours. Honey did not go on those tours, but Emoni Wilkins (see her and Rachel in VP's Wicked) did.

They were in the same year on the Sing Off, but they never got to perform this vs. And her Name is Honey Larochelle. She was a part of Voiceplay at the time

The guy you didn't recognize in the front, is Tony, the baritone before J.None. The best thing they did with him in it, is Phantom of the Opera. Tony no longer sings with VoicePlay because he left to do Pattycake Productions; Layne somehow finds time for both, and VP films a lot of their music videos on Pattycake sets.

Almost no one seems to notice the last sentence by (likely) Tim at the very last moment before of him crying at the end... "Oh, it's a zombie, oh oh oh, don't forget to subscribe!"... 😁😂 This one is very old. 🙂 The guy on the left that you don't recognise is Tony Wakim, their former baritone, who left to be full time co-owner of the Pattycake Productions together with Layne and was replaced by J None. The other guy you didn't remember the name was Earl, high tenor, who left for personal reasons and is still to be replaced. 🙂
