Their life performances are just as good as studio performances! In their life performances they have a subwoofer! And they actually do shake the floor around you! Nice reaction

I've heard HomeFree do this live, and they sound even better than the recording if thats possible. Just love these boys. ❤ Sure, gonna miss those Austin highs and his moves. Thanks for a great reaction. 🥰❤️

They opened with this at the concert I went to last year. Tim just cuts loose and adds more bass when live. 🎶🥰

For me one of the best Mashups from Home Free. You don't even realize it's 2 songs. A song that has a vibe that you don't hear much from HF. Really amazing. The video is awesome. HF can sing with all of them beautiful voices but still so different, just everything

One of my favorites from them. I got to see them do this live. Chairs vibrate and floors shake.

This is another one of my favorites! I love this mashup of these 2 songs & they both fit together seamlessly. Also love the psychedelic feel to the video. Very creative. Adam's vocal percussion is great as always. And Tim's bass is so low in this song.

One of the "Story Time With Tim" videos has him telling about how at one concert he hit a low note and it *knocked a woman's false teeth out of her mouth*. I also can't get over this rendition of "Your Man": kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYm4kKuaaKqnmqs It's not just iPhones that can't handle Tim.

@@uosuaq I just had him review this video on patreon this past month along with the new video of Your Man so he should be posting it here soon.😊

@@melikka808 Oh man, the Story Time video where he goes on to tell the...er...barnacle story? I have something to relate about that story, but it can wait. Meanwhile, I just came across this very recent clip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmrKpKObbd9mqbM ...which starts with Tim apologizing for having blown out the speakers so early in the show, and then telling about how they were once playing a small fair similar to the one in the clip, and Tim knocked out the power for the entire (presumably not huge) fairground, which is, you know, a good story, but then Tim says "so anyway, I hit a low note and *stranded people on the Ferris wheel*".
@melikka8085 ай бұрын
@@uosuaqNo...I had him review the video you linked above where he knocked the sound system out while performing "Your Man" (not the story time one). Thanks for sharing this link...I had not seen that one. Knocking out an entire fair with a low note...that must be some kind of record.😂🤣 I hear that now they travel with their own sound equipment so, I guess that helps with problems like that?🤷♀️😂

We are not kidding this is better live, I have seen it live maybe 6 or 7 times and they do such a great job. They just fill the stage with sound , and then you have Tim makes everything vibrate !!! I swear he can make your hair vibrate. Thank you so much for both versions !!

I see that HF's title card calls the second song "Down in the Boondocks." The song they're using, originally by Little Big Town, is usually just called "Boondocks." The "Down in the Boondocks" that we oldsters grew up with is a totally different song, written by Joe South and recorded by Billy Joe Royal in 1965.

When asked about the song they most enjoy performing this was it; but they also said partly because it was the most challenging for them to do. This is a fantastic opening number and you do literally feel Tim’s low notes in your chest.

Tim is “drinking” moonshine from a home still, illegal in the back mountain country of the Appalachians and Ozarks. The boondocks!

So much fun. Love this mashup. I have seen Home Free 3 times in concert and I’m telling you Tim’s lows go through you. It’s amazing. I sat in the mezzanine at one concert and I was thinking oh well I won’t hear Tim as well….au contraire! His notes just rattle the place. He’s remarkable. That was Austin making that one sound, kind of guitar like. When live, Austin can also do the harmonica and does so with Adam when they sing Man of Constant Sorrow. Good one Yuri!!!

In the studio, there is sound dampening in the room. Live shows, Tim uses the whole room as natural "reverb". Strategic placement of speakers allows the effect of his low notes to spread without interfering with other speakers. If you really enjoy his lows, check out a live version of "Your Man"... He hits LOWER

Boondocks is a lot of times shortened to Boonies, meaning very rural or middle of no where. I've used it a few times to describe where I live. LOL Yes, Austin is able to reproduce a harmonica sound. Not only does Tim drop amazing bass notes in this but he also jumps high. Just before you can hear the massive lows, there is a line "Say a little prayer for me" and you can hear two voices. Watching the video, you can see that one of the voices is Tim. Legend says that speakers cry when Tim hits those notes. Some even freak out and refuse to work right until he stops! LOL

Sorry but the Billy Joe Royal song is an entirely different one. As always, their singing, harmonies & Adam's crazy beatboxing are terrific. I always enjoy the studio videos but my favourites are the live videos. In an interview, Chris Rupp said he brought in an industrial fan to make Austin's hair blow. To really see the effect of Tim's bass, watch the video "Tim Foust's vibration" - mind-blowing.

Why does "Home Free" enter American idol. I think they should be able to use a extra million dollars.i would use some of the songs they they won the the Add capella songs they used the acapella contest years years ago. Maybe put in their beer song and Johnny Cash's song would be the top of the lines I personally with you but I'm not home free. Since they opened up American has talent to profnationals I don't see where they can't win a million dollars
