Actually the inverse is truer. The Torah (first five books of the Bible) were written at least a millennium before the DSS. And all the old testament was written before the DSS. And the new testament was written contemporaneously to a few hundred years after the DSS. So the Dead Sea Scrolls aren't predating the Bible's individual books necessarily. Your historical chronology is way off thinking the DSS predate the Bible by a millennium, LMAO.

This scroll makes no mention of Jesus or Christians, but it does reference Israel (the servant of god per Isaiah) , the god of Israel is only worshipped by Jews that is a direct relationship between Jew and God meaning no trinity, no middleman, no lamb of god etc. notice the part of Levite’s only Jews have the tribe of Levi, only Jews have a holy temple with sacrifices attended by Cohanim(priests) there is no other way to interpret this, it is a message from Jew to Jews in a language used by jews. Jesus has nothing to do with this document, it was not incorporated into the Torah or the New Testament for whatever reasons, so it is non-canonical for both. The New Testament depends on the Torah being true, without Torah being true, the New Testament can not be true, it can not stand alone, it even quotes the Torah. So you are stuck with a big problem, nothing in the Torah matches the Jesus story. You can’t find anything in there that supports the Jesus story at all.

I would leave that to the Scripture scholars, rabbis, bishops, and theologians to figure out. It would require a great deal of specialized knowledge and much much discernment, and then if there is anything worthwhile to uncover at all. Much of it does seem like the same events but from a Jewish point of view. Best stick with what we know are solid sources however. If these are good sources, well we know of what they predict anyway, nothing too new here prophecy-wise for Christians. It is of great historical worth for insight into the thinking of a given branch of Judaism at the time and noteworthy that they were essentially a monastic sect.

If the Essenes were the "Sons of Light", the "Sons of Light" would be the ones eradicated by the opposing sect that founded modern Christianity. Strange, this is a battle between the light and the darkness which are spiritual principles, but it seems this Dead Sea Scroll fight is waged as physical assault. Doesn't seem to add up. Truth (light) destroys falsehood (darkness) by contradicting it with Reality. Swords are only symbols used to describe the piercing quality of truth in Apocalyptic writing of Prophecy. The sword of the Lord is His Word, who is Christ. A Christian is not made by force, but by desire for God and salvation.
