I have no doubt that Pastor Frazier would return to active duty to defend this country, and it is reassuring to know there are many vets, most especially Marines, that would be the first to sign up. God bless you Marine, and welcome home.

as an American, I think of the biggest reasons we need to hear about our Vietnam vets to make damn sure our veterans never come home the way vets of Vietnam did because the good majority didn’t deserve the hate that got over the few that did war crimes to deserved it of which we also need to learn from so it never happens again either thank you to our vets

I graduated high school in 1968. I hated the Communists and supported our troops. I was shooting Hi-Power military matches at the time and had no delusions about bullets going both ways. However, my parents did not want me to go to the war, so I respected their wishes. However, I get teary eyed every time I see a Marine.

I look at this mans picture in the corner juxtaposed to the old man being interviewed... life is so short and youth is fleeting and this man and his brothers in arms youths are ripped away from them and they come home grown up beyond their chronological age... kinda ain't right. But a funny thing is happening, guys that got deferments or, went to Canada are suffering survivors guilt and regretting and wondering how would I handle myself in combat.

@VoicesofHistory a interesting video might be, a series of interviews with guys that didn't go to Vietnam or serve and the guilt/regret they have 55 yrs later. I want to say I learned that John Lithgow was one of these guys among others and, that info came from a book that popular podcaster Jocko Wilnik was reviewing on his podcast.
