Tormod crypt is a sideboard card for me, spawning pit sees play in my atraxa build, nevermore finds it's home in my Zur deck. A certain person we know may be adding fell specter to his yidris deck. Razaketh's rite is in atraxa as well. Insurrection is in every monored deck I have ever played against. It's also in my krenko build.

Isnt Insurrection like $10 and Noxious Revival around $6+? Thats not too budget

tithe is an absolute staples in my white decks.... especially in multicolored ones

I wouldn't compare Noxious revival with eternal witness. They both do similar things, but Instant and Sorcery speed is a huge difference, but so is to have a card in hand or need to draw, so basically both are somehow sorcery speed because you'll need to draw with revival to get the card. The graveyard hate aspect of noxious revival is great ^.^

for me, it would be Anarchist from exodus. No one expects a red card to fetch a sorcery from the grave. Often, they won't counter it since it's almost never played.

I can't remember the name of the red card, but there is another red card like that, though it is a bit more expensive in mana terms and it is a sorcery. It does try to make up for that though by saying that the spell that you are returning to your hand's converted mana is dealt as damage to all enemy creatures. With a seven mana sorcery card in the graveyard, it is a wonderful fetch/wipe card.

Love the list, and the series. Insurrection is a weird one, maybe my playgroup has always known about that one but i see thay card a reasonable amount. And if you arent high on inssurrection, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!? IT BASICALLY READS WIN THE GAME FOR 8 MANA. JUST JAM IT IN EVERY RED DECK AND BE HAPPIER.

Isn't derevi active ability to be put on the field go above nevermore? I mean ur not casting it.

Yea, that's why he's saying you should never name Derevi with Nevermore

You can be a dick and name Derevi with Pithing needle and then nevermore... then her ass is never coming out (barring enchantment removal of course)

I don't like the idea of tailoring a deck towards playing someone else's deck. Running graveyard hate becomes a disadvanged versus a deck that has no graveyard interaction. I prefer to play a deck that 100% revolves around me, not my opponent.

I'ver seen this statement before. It's a huge problem with non-competitive edh in my opinion.The player who decides to show up with the better combo deck is going to win as long as everybody is playing solitare. On top of that, playing solitare generally doesn't make for very skill intensive gameplay, and your games are going to repeat a lot, becoming somewhat repetitive.
