Just want to share how I got to know about Volbeat. I had an internet friend from Finland, we played the same game and before he left the game we had a chat on Line and he recommended this band, at first i hesitated to listen to it because I am not into this genre. When he did not respond anymore to my chats I started listening to their music and until now I cannot get over how great this band is. I am addicted to this band now and I am crying they release new album. Thank you so much for Volbeat for this great songs. One of my dreams is to see your perform live. I am obsessed with Volbeat and Love them. I had the pleasure of seeing them on my birthday March 3rd this year @ the Honda Center in Anaheim. The Band sounded great, so tight and in sync. Michael's vocals pitch perfect. So much talent - vocals, lyrics, music. He has been blessed by God, or is it the Devil? Awesome show from the lights to background graphics. Whoever is Volbeat's sound tech on the road, he needs respect for his craft. Everything dialed in and clear. Anyway, this song always makes me thing of the song Heaven and Hell sung by the great Ronnie James Dio.

This goes out to everyone thinking Volbeat are devil worshippers. Ok so I am a Christian that loves metal and Volbeat is in my top 3 favorite bands. After taking some consideration into the lyrics, I have come to realize every time Volbeat puts out a new song/album, they are always story focused about someone or something at some point in history. Their Shady Ladies album had a lot of stories for example about the Old West. I listen to The Sacred Stones song and I hear a story about a person who has lost their way with God/Light and has decided to look to the Devil/Darkness instead. I never take it as Michael Poulson himself, but a character of the story and song. Devil Rages On is more about the ancient ones and how the devil is in disguise all the time trying to get you to give into temptation. This is easily my favorite album of Volbeat. But you must listen to everything with a grain of salt. Understand Michael Poulson is using these ancient gods or beings as material to write music. The album is called "Servant of the Mind". Meaning you're a slave to your own self in what you believe. Think deeper.
